It's not so much that he insulted Manny but he took it as far as to call it a joke. That's flat out insulting the league.
Also LMAO at people saying no ones been fired in the US for insulting MLK.

Um in most leagues he would be fined at best for "conduct detrimental to the team", receive a 1 game suspension at absolute worst for being a team cancer. Not kicked off the damn team, and out of the entire league. It's absolutely insane.

And for the 1 guy to compare Pacquiao to MLK? Wow. If that's the case I'm happy he was only kicked off the team and not flayed alive for insulting the Pinoy MLK.

It is a joke. The man sucks at playing basketball. They turned a professional game into a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition with a guy that can't play or coach basketball at a high level doing both of those things at the highest level in their country just to sell some tickets.

It is a joke but like it or not that's the way things work. Just say you work in a grocery store, and your boss wants you to alphabetize the cookies and cereal. Your boss hears you complain to anybody you can about what a joke it is. Good chance you're getting fired even if it's ******ed for the boss to do things that way.
Also, if you go see his actual quotes he was ref bashing, and saying joke over and over, after only 3 games in the league. It seems like more of an excuse to get rid of a cancer.
"This game is seriously a joke. The way the game was going, the refs took the game that I know and love and they made it into a mockery," an upset Orton said.

When asked what it was like to see the boxing champion play basketball, Orton answered: "That';s the joke. That's part of the joke I was talking about. Professional boxer, yeah, okay. Congressman, alright. Professional basketball player, no. It's a joke. Seriously, it's a joke."

I'm a huge Pac fan, and it is a joke. Dude's just keepin' it real. Mayweather, Tiger, Michael Phelps, Peyton Manning, Mike Trout, Serena Williams, etc would never sniff the NBA. And if the league tried to pull that sh|t, it's credibility would tank.

            And the MLK comparison?
