I admire Pacquiao... but as far as comparing him to MLK or Gandhi.... he's not nearly the humanitarian either of them were. Look to his trappings of the material world.. Gandhi lived in poverty, he believed in living and attiring himself exactly as the common people. MLK had a modest house for his family, but not nearly the material wealth Pacquiao enjoys. If Pacquiao was half the humanitarian Yall seem to think he is, He would live in a modest dwelling and give over everything he has to the people. This, he does not do. That is the standard of MLK and freakin' Gandhi, of which Pacquiao falls far short of. It is plain and simple ignorance to assert otherwise.

In this case, Pacquiao is more like the Dalai Lama. I know that when the Dalai Lama visits various countries, he makes sure to hook up with the wealthy so he can stay in their luxury mansions when in their countries.

Maybe Manny should try and get Orton his job back. That seems like something the Filipino MLK would do.

Well, you did. What you fail to realize is that those two things doesn't necessarily contradict each other.

No, not at all actually. That's like you owing me a car, but you have given me 100 cars prior to that and you will give me 100 more in the future, you have given jobs to my entire family while inspiring and entertaining the entire population of my city. That's what it's like.

He hasn't stolen anything from anyone. He MIGHT not have payed quite ENOUGH according to your average socialist government. The very same governments that are, infact, the ones stealing money from people.

But even IF we say that he never payed 1 penny in income tax, he has still generated more tax revenue than 99,99% of all Filipinos.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. Bill Gates is probably the greatest humantarian ever and he he lives in this

I'm pretty sure Pacquiao has already given more "material wealth" to others than MLK and Ghandi combined

MLK and Ghandi were more Civil Rights Activists than humanitarians

Orton should not lose his job for stating the obvious. Some of you haters should not get so upset over the MLK a comparison. What you guys need to find is a current black leader who is equal to pac. Sharpton and Jackson ain't cutting it
