Leading up to every Floyd fight, his people talk about how it's going to be easy work and Floyd's power is so underrated and he'll knock this guy out, but he never seems to come close to knocking anyone out.

I know I'm different but I think Maidana landed more powerful and hurtful punches on Mayweather and also Canelo did, then Mayweather landed on them. Mayweather pokes out a left jab that often barely touches the other guy, and the commentators and his fans think it was a mighty blow.

People reference KOs like Gatti and other fights from 10 years ago. Mayweather's speed and power are less now. If he tries to sit down on more than a few punches, he'll hurt his hand. He won't sit in the pocket and trade courageously like Marquez. He'll throw the straight to the body, but mostly he'll move around and throw out that touch jab and hope everyone will be fooled into thinking he won.

You have to respect him. Can't throw caution to the wind, but his best attribute now is defense.

Canelo landed punches on floyd ? when did this happen... all i saw was a lopsided boxing clinic. .and maidana does have power but all he was doing was being dirty hoping to get floyd off his game.. he was mainly hitting elbows and hips..floyd beat him pretty decisively. .

personally i think hes going to walk through floyds right. He will get tagged a lot but

manny is going to be on his A game. After all the **** floyd has talked. This is for
the belts and the #1 Pound for pound slot. Manny has a habbit of beating up people
with longer reaches who are taller and stronger?

he hurt maidana, the ghost , cotto and got canelo respect. I dont know why people think the boy can't punch. but in may the very first well connected punch will happen early and you will see pac man do what he did against bradley after bradley connected early. ironically pac is gonna get hit his hardest since the marquez fight.

Bradley really bulked up huge for the second fight with pacquiao. He was loading up on every punch, looking to knock pacquiaos head off. While doing this, he also put himself at risk to eat a lot of strong shots. Would mayweather be willing to do that? I don't think so, and I think that will be the huge difference. Manny will overwhelm mayweather with his speed.

I think Mayweather's timing and speed is what keep his opponents at bay. This will probably shock Pacquiao more than anything. All Mayweather needs to do is slow the fight down. Pacquiao will have his moments but I see him missing and getting hit a lot. If this happens it's a wrap.

chickenfloyd-no-more will employ his trademark: running,clinching,hugging and occasionally elbowing pacman like hatton did, but pac is smart enough to those dirty tactics...his speed and power will ultimately wear down chickenfloyd-no-more...as the fight wore on, the up-and-down combos of a dozen punch will take its toll on chickenfloyd-no-more...pac will continue hitting him with his right hook and tagging him with his left straight...at the end of nine rounds, with face swollen and eyes almost shut, you will be surprised seeing chickenfloyd-no-more cry like oliver mccall and quit...

Like floyd says most of the time, its different when you get in the ring with him. He's faster than he looks from ringside or in mannys case: video tape. I dont think he's even seen floyd fight live to get a slight understanding of what he's up against. At the same time i think for the first time in a long time its the same in floyds case. I think manny will be a lil faster than what floyd thinks and box a lil better than what floyd thinks. The first few rds are gonna be crucial in this fight. I keep hearing about pacs supposed unpredictability and his fans better hope that holds true....because if floyd figures pac out ie: rhythm, timing, the times manny pauses after a combo (like morales did)etc. Its gonna be a long night.

I believe part of Cottos success if you will in fighting floyd is the fact that he changed up mid rds and started to box more, it made floyd uncomfortable in there. I dont see pac going to those lengths to beat floyd especially with freddy offense first Roach as his trainer. Pac cannot and i repeat CAN NOT find himself stuck in a space tryna figure out floyd. Its a waste of time and rounds and manny will get pummeled. Ask Hatton, Marquez, judah (rd 4 and up), Hoya, mosley and canelo. Pac has to fight his fight and keep floyd on the defensive.

on a side note. i actually think floyds left hook or his infamous jab to the gut are gonna work wonders in this fight.
