This whole fight boils down to one thing.

Manny doesn't have his legs anymore. Thats what made him dangerous. He came from all angle, and could everywhere at once.

Now he is just a shorter guy with fast hands and a bit of power.

I remember In an interview for mayweather/Canelo promo Shane Mosley was stating that Floyd does have deceptive power. I say is enough to catch your attention and keep you on your toes. Is a combination of speed and accuracy, and its those punches that you don't see coming.. he had decent power at lighter weights like when he fought corrales but it's been a while since he had a significant stoppage... No he is not gonna walk PAC down

His strategy will be to potshot or counter then move

He doesn't have a hand speed advantage over PAC to be able to exchange with him and make him pay whilst making him miss

There are 2 types of counter punchers:

1. Floyd- potshots you. Primarily focused on defence. May lay on ropes until you have shot your bother then come back with something (maidana I)

2. Marquez- will risk tasting leather and will fire COMBINATIONS in retaliation .

Come on Jas, this has got to be trolling. One of Mayweather's patented moves is the pull counter. How is that move not a risk?

How about the shoulder roll, the concept of the shoulder roll is to step in the pocket and roll punches to the head and body. How is this not risky?

Floyd's timing, speed and boxing IQ is just higher than Marquez's. Floyd is a defensive genius and it's not like he fights off the back foot all the time. Floyd will engage and move forward in almost every fight, not usually til the latter half or for the majority but he will fight and hold his ground. He sits in the pocket and makes opponents miss and gets huge counters all the time. How is this not risky?!

You guys are acting as if Floyd is one dimensional and takes zero risks. Floyd is just great at positioning, timing and controlling distance so he minimizes the possibilities for return fire. Still just as everybody, he makes mistakes see: Mosley fight, Judah fight, Maidana II.

You need to be around boxing a few more years I dont think you got this sport figured out yet , Floyd gets hit less than other fighters do you understand that , he is not acknowledged as on of the greatest defensive fighters in history because he gets hit often .
