Trout, Mosley and even "Josesito" who was really two divisions lighter than Canelo and in very poor shape, looking very soft and with extra fat (exactly the same case as Marquez vs. Floyd) "backed up" Canelo even more than Floyd ever did.

Canelo was so slow and sluggish vs. Floyd, that he never ever landed a single clean punch on Floyd, that's why Canelo never really hurt him badly or knocked him down, but if you watched the fight, even Canelo's missed punches, although they were never clean, always backed Floyd down and made him run away scared. You could see in Floyd's face and attitude the whole fight, that he was afraid of being knocked down or knocked out, and that's why most people stayed watching the whole fight with interest, because they expected something like what happened between that bum Chavez Jr. and Martinez, a late knock down, and a very exciting ending to an otherwise boring fight, but that never happened because Canelo is too slow, not very smart (neither him nor his corner) and just doesn't know how to cut the ring, to trap a running opponent such as Floyd.

So Canelo ran out of gas after round 3? So the fact that he was eating counters had noting to do with that? Or the fact that he got stun by several Right hands he didn't see coming.

Canelo fought like a fool and tried to box him from range, he was even trying to catch and shoot Floyd from range lmfao

Canelo got backed up and outboxed for periods by Alfonso Gomez.

        Alfonso Gomez.

Actually Canelo seems to be out of gas from the very first round in every fight. Yes he ate tons of punches from Floyd but that same thing happened vs. virtually anyone of certain level that he has faced, namely Trout, Lara, Mosley and even "Josesito" as I mentioned. I think Lara stunned him even more than Floyd ever did, but Lara's speed and defense are nowhere as good as Floyd's so he got hit in the body very harshly several times (but just like Floyd, never got a clean hit from Canelo in the face), and that's why some judges gave the victory to Canelo, but, even as cowardly as he fought, Lara might as well have been the victor. And I think he definitely hurt Canelo more than Floyd did IMO.

Eddie Chambers is a contender??? He says Pacquiao hasn't had a KO since 2009. Mayweather hasn't had a legitimate KO since 2007, and if Chambers is counting the sucker-punch KO of Ortiz in 2011, he's tripping.

That has nothing to do with his analysis whether you agree with him or not.

Let's also count how many knock-downs each one has scored since 2007, and how many times each one of the two has really busted up someone's face, like breaking their nose, making them almost lose an eye, sending them to the hospital after the fight for a check up...

The article mentioned it, I questioned it. If anything, he's a former contender. And his "analysis" is skewed and flawed.
