But at least the BUMS at 168 would stand a better chance against Golovkin and his vaunted power, and it would be interesting to see what happens when 1 of these thick headed luggs at 168 is able to take Golovkins shots and bring the Power right back at him.

What a waste to say there's still something to PROVE at 160, when there's obviously no one can stand up to him at 160, and mostly cause there are no very good or great fighter at 160......and guess what? THERE HASNT BEEN FOR YEARS NOW.....

Just more non-sense from butt hurt Cult-Fanboys. :ANYWORD:

Alright we're getting somewhere. I agree those would be more interesting, but several are with Haymon and unmakeable, Ward is out, Froch doesnt want it which says a lot. I really doubt Groves would fight him coming off that brutal ko. Degale is even less proven than many Ggg opponents. Still the only offer he received from 168 is from Top rank on Chavez' behalf, who then got cold feet

      • Golovkin is a middleweight. He's doing what he's supposed to do - fight and beat the highest ranked opponents available to him. If other title holders and big names don't want to fight him, that's on them, GGG can only fight people willing to step up to him.

Likewise, Bernard Hopkins wasn't in exactly a loaded division when he was a middleweight, and the other title holders refused to fight him. Hopkins kept grinding by fighting and beating the highest ranked guys available, guys like Robert Allen, Echols, etc. Not exactly world beaters. Hopkins patiently waited for his big opportunity and eventually he got it at the age of 36 against Trinidad and unified the division, which was a goal of his. Under this logic however, Hopkins shouldn't have wasted his time and moved up to 168 sooner. Imagine that. No Hopkins vs Trinidad and Oscar which were fights that really made him a star. Likewise with Golovkin - stay patient and eventually he'll be able to unify the division, which like Hopkins is a goal of his. The big fights will come, eventually I'm sure he'll get Canelo and the likes. For right now, Golovkin is doing his job - cleaning out the division and attempting to unify.

Yes, he just needs to keep beating people up on tv, looking impressive, and stay active. Someone will come along or move up who can further enhance his marketability. If GGG never wants to move up he has that right if fighting at a comfortable weight for him.

3 years ago til now, there were oppportunity's for Golovkin to mix it up at 168 with some of the fighter's I mentioned.....please man, save the excuses blah blah blah, I've seen the Interviews with his promoter and Trainers over the years, he wasn't looking for those guys at 168.......

Even though it doesn't take rocket science to see none of the guys he's fought at 160 stood a chance, even before he fought them lol.

Look, I agree with you to a point, the point I'm making is Golovkin hasn't proven NOTHING, yet. But he's a "Great Fighter"? STOP. Stop it man, cut the BS cause you know they, meaning the Fans/Media are and have been calling him Great, comparing him to Greats non-sense. And only in this increasingly out of touch with Truth/Reality Society are these "false conjectures" takin as FACTS.

                  Delusions.

.......And not have fought anyone, which he hasn't, but the Middleweights were just that bad, just like the Heavyweights were garbage and Wlad and his brother, feasted on BUMS 99% of there Careers. Golovkin is doing the same, fighting BUMS while the MEDIA and Cult-fans label him as Great!, lol.

Even a ****** like yourself SHOULD be able to see this, but...lol
its aint about FACTS, its about being right, even when your wrong, okay kid.
