Again WRONG !!! Floyd reached out to Pac, by sending one of his people over to Pac and asking to meet.

You guys are never going to give Floyd credit even when it was he who got the ball rolling.

The fact that he gave that interview with FightHype was even bigger, and then to kill that deadline was even more impressive. I really believe that the hotel meeting in Miami saved the fight! Manny had to be pissed and embarrassed, and he probably demanded that Arum get his **** together!

But yeah, manny and koncz deserve credit for willingness to do what was needed.

Following a Pacquiao-Algieri worldwide publicity tour, Roach said he urged Moonves to meet with Arum at the promoter’s Beverly Hills home.

“They didn’t like each other,” Roach said of a strain that dated to Pacquiao’s return to HBO after fighting one bout on Showtime in 2011. “Bob promised [Moonves] three fights … and only gave him one. … [Moonves] actually told me, ‘I’m not dealing with the devil.’ ”

“I kind of sneakily put them together, about four months ago. I knew it was risky. … [Moonves] wanted to make the fight without Bob and I said, ‘That’s not going to happen, you’ve got to bring him in.’

It means nothing because contracts are drawn up many times during negotiations and go through a repeated back and forth process between each camp's legal team. Drafts upon drafts upon drafts are written before the final one is reached and each camp agrees and signs. Any draft can be signed by either team, means nothing.

And we all know from reports that the networks themselves hadn't even come to an agreement, meaning there was no final contract.

I'm actually a bit disappointed. I would've loved a full blown All Access/24/7 because it just builds up the hype week by week. Also a press conference tour would have been epic. Well, at least we have the fight, so I'm not complaining.
