ESPN still covers it. Steven A Smith and Skip Bayless have debated who would win the Pacquiao - Mayweather fight for years now and they always go back to it. I find it amusing and entertaining to listen to them argue until they're blue in the face. ESPN Classic shows old boxing matches every so often, not as much as they use to though. Plus ESPN has been having their Friday Night Fights series since at least the early 90's

But like you said, it's not like the old days. ESPN kind of pushed boxing into a dark corner and only lets it out every so often when something big happens. They're just not that invested anymore.
I just missed the good old boxing days. They have fights on two or three times a week. They have interviews or coverage with those fighters before their actual fights. And they will talk boxing constantly. eSPN just cover the stories if boxers are already famous. I'm glad Haymon made a move of showcasing his vast talents on live TV. I just hope he won't feed us with mismatches after mismatches bouts.

Try to blow up that contract that Mayweather was holding with both of their signatures in em. Then try to blow up the contract Manny posted on his instagram with his signature in it and blank on Floyds name. Compare them and tell me that the one Manny posted is bogus.

ESPN had actually been doing a bit more on boxing than they have anyway for many years. FNF is what it is but Boxcino has been a solid idea for them. They also had those special events Taylor-Soliman,Arriola-stiverne, they showed those Wlad fights and some foreign stuff on 360.

Rafael provides solid coverage, I liked when they used Mulvaney more nut I guess Campbell is alright. Plus Nigel Collins provides a solid old man presence needed in boxing coverage.

1 hour specials? Thats pretty ****** for this type of fight. These idiots have no idea what they doing. The hype alone on a 4 week 24/7 show could be the only promotion they would need for the fight. Views would be crazy.

Not the type of "details" of the deal I was expecting based on the thread title. Like, where is Jinkee allowed to sit? Can Mrs. Pacquiao put a spell on Floyd? Is Tagalog allowed in Pac's corner?

its becoming more and more clear that floyd wAs forced into this fight

hes upsidedown on his showtime deal and moonvez gave him no option but to make this fight

no press tour no 24/7 ? because all that COSTS MONEY

hes making up for what he lost with guerrero and maidana fights

he has such an ego that he wants to make it seem otherwise , when in fact he was pressured in EVERY aspect to make this fight

pressure from SHOWTIME , HAYMON, THE FANS, MEDIA, the normally mild mannered Pacquiao had to TALK **** AND EVEN GOLDENBOY tried stealing his date ...knowing his ego would get the best of him lol

everyone came together on this and FORCED HIM in the ring

dont let this be me knocking floyds skill ...i still think he wins guys

pacman we knew in 09 is long gone which is probably the Real reason floyd took this lol

I think what ruins boxing for some people is the mismatches. You'll have a hot prospect being fed bums for years before actually fighting someone real. All hype. And then you have the bad decisions on top of that.

So Alex Ariza has been proven wrong as usual spreading lies that this fight will not happen.
