I seriously doubt that Michael Koncz knew a damn thing about the negotiations for this fight until he looked that the real contract that Pacquaio signed a few days ago (that is if he even bothered to look at it). Nothing he has said prior to now has been accurate.

The fact that he gave that interview with FightHype was even bigger, and then to kill that deadline was even more impressive. I really believe that the hotel meeting in Miami saved the fight! Manny had to be pissed and embarrassed, and he probably demanded that Arum get his **** together!

ESPN still covers it. Steven A Smith and Skip Bayless have debated who would win the Pacquiao - Mayweather fight for years now and they always go back to it. I find it amusing and entertaining to listen to them argue until they're blue in the face. ESPN Classic shows old boxing matches every so often, not as much as they use to though. Plus ESPN has been having their Friday Night Fights series since at least the early 90's
But like you said, it's not like the old days. ESPN kind of pushed boxing into a dark corner and only lets it out every so often when something big happens. They're just not that invested anymore.

Lucky Koncz went over to Floyd during the game and told him to come over to see Manny or this fight might never had happened.
Lucky Floyd's Visa got denied as well
