Cotto turned down 10 million to face Canelo, by making 8.5 million against Martinez and became the FIRST 4 divisional champion from PR. If you think that's a duck, you're a ****ing idiot. Cotto would be favored or even against Canelo, he was a 3-1 underdog against Martinez and you picked him to lose.

So you're saying the cripple Martinez fight was the harder fight? So Cotto was brave going after that beast Martinez? It was a smart play by Cotto, he thought even If Martinez had anything left he can still fight Canelo even if he lost to Martinez. The problem is beating the shell of Martinez made Cotto even more delusional and more of a diva.

The Canelo fight should have been made, everyone wants to see that fight. Nobody gives shit about the Mayweather rematch.

It's also openly known that Cotto wants Mayweather so he was waiting for May/Pac to resolve itself, WHILE STILL negotiating with Canelo who said IN VEGAS ONLY and ONLY on May 2nd. Those are Canelo's conditions...

DLH said they would move the date if PAC vs. MAY Happened. That wasn't an issue but it's a nice attempt to make excuses for not taking the fight.

Now it's looking like May/Pac will happen on May 2nd and you were expecting Cotto to sign a date to fight Canelo when May/Pac would fight. Get your emotions out of the period cycle and just use your brain for a second. Canelo tried to play hardball and now will be fighting on HBO for free, not the date he wanted or the opponent he wanted. He left the table not Cotto... only one guy ducked this last time and it wasn't Cotto.

If Cotto wanted the fight it would have happened, everyone wanted to see the fight. It was at worst the second most anticipated fight of 2015 but Cotto is king diva so he does what he wants. Now if Yuri Foreman isn't available or maybe a Mayorga rematch we get to see him fight Bradley or Rios. It's going to be one of the most sad pathetic fights ever for a defending lineal middleweight champion.

I have full confidence you're going to be here leading the arguments as to why the fights are great and Cotto looks great in pink yoga pants.
