It was a smart play by Cotto, he thought even If Martinez had anything left he can still fight Canelo even if he lost to Martinez. If Cotto wanted the fight it would have happened, everyone wanted to see the fight. It was at worst the second most anticipated fight of 2015 but Cotto is king diva so he does what he wants. Now if Yuri Foreman isn't available or maybe a Mayorga rematch we get to see him fight Bradley or Rios. It's going to be one of the most sad pathetic fights ever for a defending lineal middleweight champion.

I have full confidence you're going to be here leading the arguments as to why the fights are great and Cotto looks great in pink yoga pants.

A lot of people don't give a **** about the Mayweather fight, Cotto does. Whether people want to see or not doesn't matter. A Floyd fight is better for Cotto's legacy (should he win) and his pocket (even if he loses.) Cotto can say **** the fans when a certain fight is better for his legacy, I don't blame him I would do the same. If I could fight Floyd, or some hypejob kid for no title I'd take Floyd too, especially since he would pay more.

Canelo went into the talks knowing he wasn't going to go to NY, how is diva willing to fight in Vegas diva when Canelo wouldn't go to NY under ANY circumstance?

The only person who said something about the paper is Arum, if that cost Canelo the fight maybe he should learn from guys like Cotto and Floyd instead of taking the Arum approaching and telling the media everything. Keep your mouth shut until the fight is signed, why not just do that? If Canelo got up and left because Cotto told him to shut his whore mouth, he should listen to his daddy.

Cotto does want the fight to happen, he just wants Floyd more and I don't blame him. You can be mad or whatever it is your on about, at the end of the day only one guy is signed up to fight a D class punching bag the other guys calendar is still open. Cotto might be fighting Bradley... He's active and a top 10 P4P. If the title is on the line, it's a joke. But it's better than fighting a guy who isn't even top 10 in the division and hasn't fought in over a year, that's a joke of a fight by leaps and bounds in comparison. Yet, Cotto who is "too small for MW and JMW" is now picking on WW's? Again, only one guy has a signed contract to fight someone and it isn't Cotto so how can you even possible **** on his opponent yet?

He only fought two guys in that division... Lara wasn't one of them and he lost that fight anyway. Canelo only fought two JMW in the actual JMW division. Trout, which was arguable but let's be nice and say he actually won. The other was Floyd and he didn't win a round. Essentially, he's the best JMW according to ring magazine because... He won 6 or 7 rounds out of 24 against the two JMW he ever faced in that actual division. And really we all know Floyd is WW.
