This is one of the most ******ed comments I have seen to date on this subject. Major networks won't drop boxing because they are not providing boxing programming. They are selling airtime to PBC on Saturday afternoons and evening, timeslots when the major networks don't offer any original programming.
Boxing is not getting a second chance because boxing doesn't need a second chance. It has been growing continuously for nearly 100 years and is now more popular than ever, even though it is only on cable.
all these deals they're making are paid for by haymon?
He can't explain it because he has no clue and was just spouting out the first bit of nonsense that came to his mind because he can't think of anything else to justifiably criticize Haymon.
College football used to only come on television on Saturday afternoons. Then they started showing Saturday night games. Then, they started showing Friday night games followed by Thursday night games and an occasional Tuesday or Wednesday night game. College football is more popular than it has ever been. All the television broadcasts have not diluted the sport. It has enhanced it and has allowed schools to make much more money off the sport. This, in turn, has allowed schools to offer students other sports programs and even some enhanced academic programs.
Offering more boxing programs on television will increase the visibility and popularity of the sport. It will allow fighters to make a much better living or a great living off the sport. This, in turn, will allow fighters to better provide for their families and improve the economy because more money will be spent.
There is no legitimate criticism that anyone can make about what Haymon is doing. All they can do it come up with ******, emotion-driven hate-filled comments like "it will dilute the product."
It doesn't matter what you see. It's amusing how people with no experience in this type of business whatsoever think they know something that Haymon and his investors don't know.
Oh... I understand: it's a "hat trick", right?...
I know who Haymon's "investors group" is... I also know that Haymon was (at some point) considering transitioning to an online subscription service that would bypass television networks and PPV carriers by dealing directly with consumers... Which is plain ******.
(But I suspect you're a businessman yourself an you know better).
Just sit back and watch them cry as boxing has its best year of all time.
With the matches indicated, we are headed more towards another 2014 as opposed to a best year of all time...
Not everybody wants to watch a Haymon flooded market. If he actually worked with more fighters that he doesn't have signed, then it'd be a different story, but that's not the case. Haymon has proven to be a major problem in getting many of the best fights made. If you love what Haymon brought in 2014, then you'll be obviously happy with more Haymon fights, but call me a skeptic with the quality of cards with the added bummer of not being able to see new, rising talent.

I know enough about business to see that you are clearly ignorant.
Please list all of the "******" business moves by Arum that required your internet expertise.
If Golovkin's name was attached to this you would probably play with yourself.

We didn't get fights with Arum and Schaefer in power either so what else is new?

Shame you hate one guy so much that it will prevent you from enjoying the fights. Oh well your loss.
Go on hoping the sport you "love" fails. Thats a true fan
