He doesn't need to be slick. He has that quick in and out foot speed and he's an underrated counter puncher. Marquez even admitted he's one of the 3 best counter punchers in the sport. He struggled with Pacquiao because he has once in a generation hand speed and kept hurting himself trying to slip, duck and pivot.
I don't want to see him at 154 but if he were to go this would be the logical fight for him as opposed to Cotto who will apply pressure and wear him down.
absolutely no way is he one of the 3 best counter punchers in the sport.
Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it doesn't make any sense. Rigo is more accomplished than Canelo. Would that have been a better win too?
what a ****** ass comparison, yes, if rigo somehow showed he was able to hang at welterweight with some big win(s), somehow, even though it's inconcievable being 5'4 and putting on enough muscle plus keeping his style
even if you think bradley was in close fights with provodnikov and marquez(who was the favourite), canelo hadn't done anything but beat trout in a fight alot of people felt was close or he lost
bradley seasoned, canelo inexperienced
floyd beating pacquiao would be better than floyd beating canelo, despite the weight difference
In your dreams im sure he was. I read Ring Magazine about the time Floyd fought Canelo and Canelo was in the 20's, which is about right.
You only have to look at his resume prior to fighting Floyd. Was considered untested and Trout was his first called major bout. He barely won and on that basis, you and everyone knows hes not p4p no9, don't even bother mentioning anything else as its irrelevant.
Floyd dug his own grave, as people said he better not fight him at a CW, and he goes ahead and does it. So the whole world knows Bradley is a better win for Pac and its not close.

Erm, no.
In reality he was #9 P4P (According to The Ring Magazine)
Canelo should retire after the Floyd fight. I can't see much of a career after that exposure. He peaked as the king of journeymen. I say ride off into the sunset and accept it.
