i know, it would be such a huge advantage having that much height...right now im at 140 and eating anything i want whenever i want and drinking a ton and barley working out...i could get down to 130 with ease, but 122 would be interesting

well I just moved out of Wakefield about 15 min outside the city, to western Mass about 1:30 minutes from the city but I plan on moving back april 1st so I dont have to keep commuting over an hour and a half each way for work. So currently I dont live in Boston but will again in like 15 days or less

i believe somebody asked what the age limit is in amateur boxing:

if i remember the rules correctly, there is basically the juniors and regular ams i believe. could be wrong on that.

but the thing with amateur boxing is the experience factor. you don't get matched with people who have 30 fights under thier belts if you only have fought say 5 or 6 times. remembering correctly, it's been a while since i've read the am boxing rule book, your first 10 fights are with other fighters who haven't fought more than 10 times. after 10 fights, you are able to fight boxers with much much more experience and the learning curve steepens quite a bit.
