Cong**** man! Hey BTW you should soak your mouth with Salt water on a daily basis it hardens up your gums just like it does your hands, my hands used to split every time I hit the heavy bag and after I started used salt water and soaking my hands they didnt split anymore so I recommend salt water it should do the trick(it will take a few weeks wont help right from the start) Also I would recommend dropping about 8 to 10 pounds and get yourself into the 135 to 138 weight class especially with your height. If your running into issues with 140 pounders I would recommend going down 1 class and dominating then when your ready move up it will be worth your while. I started at 135 at 5'8'' fought 4 times there then went down to 127 fought 5 times then back up to 135 for my final tourney and it helped me because I improved my speed this way as well as developed my technique fighting faster and smaller guys.

I normally fight at the 141 weight class but this time I didn't have much advanced notice so I decided not to drain myself. That decision probably helped me win. May 13 I definitely won't be coming in at 147. I'll be 6 lbs lighter.

So how long and how many times a day should I hold salt water in my mouf?

          (^_^)

I would soak it 2 to 3 times a day for like 2 to 3 minutes at a time, when you wake up before you brush your teeth (that way you dont have that nasty salt taste in your mouth after you just brushed) then when you get home from say school then once more before bed. I would soak my hands for 20 minutes a day once before I went to bed, I also recommend using luke warm to cool water you dont want to use hot water not too good for the gums.

also BTW going from 140 + down to 122 is a ***** and a half i'll say that much although it isnt impossible just takes alot of work, most of the weight that you would lose to get down to that would be all water weight. You also sacrifice losing muscle mass and making yourself more tired because of such a significant loss. The most weight I had to drop was 15 lbs and that took me a good 3 weeks of 4 hours a day training in the gym, running 3 miles each day, swimming and working in the pool shadow boxing for 1 hour a day(helps speed and upper body muscle due to resistance in water) and 1 hour a day in the sauna (30 minutes shadow boxing, 30 minutes relaxing) The result was me going down from 142lbs to 127lbs, I was tired at first but when I got in the ring I won the silver mittens in 1:27 seconds knocking the bum out breaking his ribs with a devestating body shot that put him down. Alot of work but worth it if you plan on being the best.

I prefer having energy, and being healthy, so I won't drain my muscles like that. I will dehydrate enough to make 141, and 135 IF I ever go pro...but no way in hell what I put my body through those kind of things to get below 130.

I'm 148 lbs right now and 8.5% body fat.
