Hopkins would do the same thing to Froch that Ward did. Froch knows it. Froch is ducking an old man.

Pretty much. Hopkins is looking to go out with one final big payday and I don't want to see it.

I understand what you are saying, but just because Kovalev best Hopkins so thoroughly, there is no reason to assume that Froch will. In fact, I half wonder if Froch is worried that he'll look bad unless he wins convincingly, and therefore, he is wary of fighting Hopkins. As for me, I don't know how the fight would turn out, so I want to see it. For sure I'd rather see it than to have Froch fight Chavez Jr.

          Terrible fight.
Look. lets stop making it about Hopkins.

Either Froch sacks up and fights Andre Ward - the real champion at 168, moves up to 175 for a Title shot OR he has no credibility as a Top, world class fighter.

Hopkins is irrelevant. Him calling out top fighters is to be expected as he will not EARN a title shot through the regular contender process, and he is too old for that anyway.

B-Hop needs to retire and train some young fighters.

I don't want to see Hopkins go out like Alvarado against Rios last fight....he definitely needs to skip Stevenson...

Give it up Hopkins. It's not happening, no one wants to see it and no one believes that Froch is running from you.

But because he didn't the boxing world will see these types of headlines from Hopkins for months.
I think Froch wanted to gauge fan reaction and when he realised a fight with Hopkins would be nothing more than a damp squib and wouldn't gain him anything, he came to his senses.

An elbow injury forced 'The Cobra' to put off plans for a Las Vegas clash against Julio Chavez Jr and the 37-year-old described an alternative fight against Hopkins as a 'lose-lose situation', sparking a fiery response from the former undisputed middleweight champion.

                    Pretty strong words!!!

I cannot see any boxer being classified as a coward, especially Froch, and I would guess B-Hop knows this all too well. Which means there are ulterior motives at play and B-Hop is trying to goad The Cobra into a fight and a payday.

I'm a big B-Hop fan, but he needs a win under his belt before he can challenge for another title.

B-hop lost his damn mind. Froch is looking to cash out and he deserves to as much as anyone. He has put in major work and that can't be denied. Ignore the haters Froch, go get yours.
