The list of voters is in the thread. The people voting in the poll have more time in the sport than you. Your standards are nothing more than who you like. There's oily scan educated opinion based on a set of criteria applied to each fighter equally.

That's the reason it differs so drastically from the poll above.
ok man, keep your list, u can shove it to anyone's arse who says different ranking, i don't care.

    sorry to hurt your feelings.

Going undefeated and fighting comparable opposition>fighting comparable opposition and taking losses(3 by ko)

A poll is just that...a poll...it illustrates no logic and doesn't force anyone to support their opinion with facts

May weather has beaten more champions, has the most lineal defenses, tied with PAC with 4 lineal titles, has darn near double the amt of title fights as many and was more dominant

Jones, Whitaker, and mayweather are not beloved but IMO they were just better...skills>thrills

Whitaker was p4p from the late 80s to mid 90s, Jones from mid 90s to 03-04 and may weather has the throne now

We can't relate to it being easy but all 3 of these guys were the closest thing to unbeatable before their mid 30s since sugar ray Robinson and Willie pep before the plane crash....PAC is a great great fighter...he just did not dominate the way they did...not his fault but IMO PAC is one of the best of the past 20 years but I have Jones Jr and Floyd ahead....I struggle with PAC n bhops @ the number 3 spot....by 95 Whitaker was not what he was 88-93 so I exclude him.

Ricardo Lopez is honourable mention he fought a lot of tough guys in their back yard and was the greatest strawweight ever

He's not a scrub, only at top level welter. He's a borderline top 10 welter and doesn't have hardly any good wins to back up his 6 time, 4 division champ claim. In reality a couple of paper belts at 126, 130.

Really? Floyd dominated but Pacquiao didn't? Honestly, control your bias.

I dont get involved with the belts because I dont know all of that jive. And Ghost's belts are a farce. I think he had interim belts and tbh I really dont know what interims are but I think theyre the belts they give you while you sit on the sideline.

When I speak on Ghost, I speak on him skillwise. He was always a top prospect with great boxing ability. Went to ww and was a full on pressure swarmer. Punches are long and close together, so he can eat people up on the insides, and Floyd was forced to change his entire fighting style to beat him. He's a very very good fighter, just hasnt gotten the chance to put some bigger names on his resume!

Pacquaio has a 3 fight series with a past prime morales

Officially is 2-1-1 against Marquez, IMO the 3rd fight went to jmm and the ko was brutal

2 ko losses to decent but no name fighters

                    He had wars

May weather, Jones, and Whitaker had fights where guys... Great, or very good fighters would be lucky to win more than 3 rounds and it happened consecutive years and fights with very good opposition

No biase the proof is in the pudding....those 3 dudes didn't have legit losses til their 30s. Whitaker a robbery loss and Jones a DQ

Manny is great but its like saying holyfield was more dominant than Tyson... Tyson had years where he koed all the top guys, holy field had a decent scrap or a war every other fight @ heavy....both are equally great but prime for prime, Tyson was just more dominant, look at their title reigns, records, defense total, etc

Manny has lost 4 straight to JMM including getting Knocked out cold, how is he the greatest of our era? Hate on Floyd for what he does outside the ring but the way he makes boxers look silly in the ring is second to non. He's the best of our era no doubt.
