Alexander Povetkin vs. Mike Perez: who will win?

Hopefully HBO will decide to televise this fight.

Both Perez (twice) and Povetkin (twice) have been on HBO in the past.

I had no idea this was happening until I just read the Chakhiev article saying he would now be fighting on this card.

Should be a good fight. Perez is a funny one, he can look very good at times and also appear lethargic and uninterested in others. Povetkin is more consistent and has looked good since losing to Wlad.

I think Povetkin will take this possibly by late stoppage, though Perez does have a good chin his stamina is sometimes suspect.

I think I'd give Povetkin the edge he seems the more consistent of the two and think he will be in better shape which most likely will be the deciding factor.

I'm expecting a wide Povetkin points win, Perez seems to have major issues in the latter stages of fights. Coupled with the fact Povetkin appears to be in the best condition and the form of his career.

I fail to see what Adam Booth has brought to the Rebel's game, if anything he has regressed. Maybe he can make a significant improvement on his upcoming performance in Moscow, I don't see it though.

I think Povetkin will take this fight because he's been looking very good in his last couple of fights and he should be the favorite. Perez didn't turn out to be the fighter I thought he would become. I think Perez is the overall better boxer but dude seems to be lazy as **** and has been looking very sloppy and far from impressive for a while now.

Will Povetkin/Perez be televised in the state? If not, do you know of any websites that will be live streaming the fight? I feel like that one is going to be a good one and winner will be another really good test for Wilder.

There is a very good chance ESPN will be the US outlet. ESPN is talking to K2, which promotes Perez and has the US rights. IF (IF) everything works out the card likely would stream on ESPN3.com and the main event would play on ESPN2 on a brief delay.
