Neither guy is particularly exciting, Perez has lost a lot of his intensity since the Abdusalamov fight. Povetkin wins a clear UD. I'd be surprised if this fight was tough to call.

I'm certainly going for Povetkin, maybe it will go the distance but I'm going to go for a late stoppage.

If Perez wins then I'd consider it a pretty big upset. Perez does have talent but with his dedication looking as limited as it is and the way Povetkin has looked of late I just cannot give Perez too great a chance.

perez is very simular to povetkins last opponent (reflected in the draw they had) slightly better boxing skills but less heart = povetkin TKO

You can watch black and white footage of guys who can barely even box slug each other left and right barely moving with less power than the average leaf blower and get a hard on...

But Povetkin who chops down gigantic opponents as if they were paper mache isn't exciting for you?

          The irony is thick!

Perez wins via DQ when Abdusalamov runs in with a steel chair.
