This is going to be a great fight.

Perez's skills are good but I dunno if he can maintain a great performance the entire fight.

Povetkin is befitted similarly good skills but supercharged.

It's going to be mostly Povetkin imo who will turn full Drago mode in the later stages of the fight.

Both have cast iron chins though and because of Perez's I see him surviving Povetkin perhaps also but never has Perez ever fought anybody of this calibre before.

Solid chance of a Povetkin KO and if he should achieve that it will be an awesome patch on his shoulder!

Povetkin UD Perez, possible mid-late rounds KO. Very little chance of a Perez upset (due to his own stamina and Povetkins own solid chin).

Overall, another great HW match of top opponents in among the most stacked HW eras there's ever been.

    What other opinions are there??

I think if Perez can come in under 230lbs he has a chance of winning a decision. Mike is from my hometown so I hope he wins.

I think the lighter Perez comes in, the greater the chances he'll be knocked out.

He'll never outbox Alexander to the point where he wont be roughed up, no matter how slick he is.

It's going to be rough in spots no matter what, it's a Povetkin fight.

Perez is the more skilled fighter. If he wasn't such a fat, lazy **** I would pick him to win, but he is, so I fancy Povetkin to take it by UD.

Povetkin has been excellent recently. I've been impressed with the way he's put his punches together.

Perez is a solid boxer but he's been a disappointment in his step up fights. I think Povetkin will be the busier fighter and win a clear decision.

I think Povetkin stops him around the 8th or 9th round. Perez was rocked a couple times against Jennings and I was totally unimpressed.

If that's all he has he will get stopped in this fight.

Yeah. I picked UD to be decisive but a stoppage is a very real possibility.

Povetkin by decision. Perez has been a totally different guy since he beat Magomed. Just goes in there and tries to sc**** a win and acts like a clown. The fire and hunger he had is nowhere to be seen anymore

                    I'll go for Perez by decision. 116 - 112

He has the power, he has the skill, he has durability. The only thing that faults Perez is his mental toughness. If his mind is right he will win the fight.

Perez defeated another Russian, Magomed Abdusalamov in 2013. Sadly that beating led to Magomed sustaining sever brain damage
