the dumb indian is not given enough due for being past prime and beating prime pac.

especially after surviving the 3 beatings the great marco antonio barrera gave him.

My mistake then. He is still generally considered one of the best LW's ever and Floyd did go there and beat him twice.

One of the best Lightweights ever?

Floyd's **** is so far down your throat that somebody is gonna need to perform the Heimlich Maneuver pretty soon.

best LW at the time. i don't consider him one of the best LW ever.

still great wins. 1st has been totally exagerrated on how close or good jlc did. floyd won clearly. ppl were just not use to seeing floyd in semi-competitive moments.

That first fight between Barrera and Morales was epic.

I was pulling for Barrera pretty hard.

well that's a fair and reasoned point.

That is certainly true of the first Maidana fight but not the first Castillo fight.

Mayweather didn't have the aura around him back then that he does now. There is a very strong case for him losing that fight.

if you choose to not to consider them, that's your opinion. i have mine. OVERALL resume for me goes to pac/floyd. pea could have surpassed both easily with his other big names but he didn't come thru. roy just had no one 175. dariusz would have helped.
Everybody ranked in the top 100 has those lesser names on their resume. Greatness is established from the top of your resume. Floyd and Pac had their chance to get into that category in 2009 but decided not to fight each other.

Hernandez, Corley, Judah, and Canelo are no different than Ramirez, Haugen, Pendleton, Roger Mayweather and Julio Cesar Vazquez to me.
