roberto duran is the best fighter on that list. even ray leonard would tell you that.

his prime was in the 70's, however, if you can believe that. he beat kenny buchannan for the LW title in '72.

the fight of the century with joe frazier was in '71.

ali's physical prime was in the 60's, and prior to his layoff. many of his best wins came after the begginning of duran's prime.

that's what makes it a tough question. it's not whether duran is a greater fighter than ray leonard. he is. leonard had a great career, and is a great fighter, but his record is very short for a great boxer.

Pac is hot on their heels in the opinion of boxing fans though. If he whips Floyd how do you think the survey will read?

This site has far more Pacquiao fanatics than any other fighter which makes polls like this hugely favourable for him. How many have old fighters like Duran compared? I bet more than half the members on here haven't even seen a Duran fight.

It has to be between Wladimir and Sugar Ray Leonard atm but If Wladimir Klitschko get's that WBC belt off of Wilder, beats Jennings and Tyson Fury then It's got to be him he could just break the longest reign of a heavyweight champion.
So for record breaking purposes it would help a lot that added with the fact IF he cleans out another era he will fuel the cry baby haters with more tears for years to come.

Bull**** man. You can't be a boxing fan and not have watched Duran vs Hearns Duran vs Hagler and Duran vs Iran Barkley.

All Wlad has is numbers really. He has a number of good wins, but no great wins. Needs to beat Joshua for me.

Pac is ahead of Leonard and Duran already and will be right up there with Muhammed Ali if he beats Floyd.
