The key is Floyd's reach. he has unusually long arms like Iverson or scottie pippen. It enables him to fight at distance that other fighters his size simply can't.you make interesting points and are entitled to your opinion. Dibella sais something along the same things I am pointing out.

I think there is a reason Floyd is a 3-1 favorite. Again, you have good points but it seems like most of your assessment, while accurate in many spots, is taken from points in the fight when Floyd has essentially "wrapped the fight up". It's like assessing a team solely on what they do in the 4th quarter of a game they are winning.

I definitely think Manny will be able to make Floyd work. But be clear-as the JMM fight showed Manny still drops his hands and leaves openings when pressing for the KO. Most of his opponents above 130 have not had the skills to take advantage of that.

Floyd has the skills and speed to do so.

Pacquiao has not fought as reckless as he did before he got caught with the KO punch form Marquez. Mayweather better hope his legs still work well and he doesn't lay on the ropes as he did In the first Maidana fight or he will certainly be out worked by Pacquiao. As far as rounds that are considered 50/50 rounds they will without a doubt go to Mayweather.

the fighters he fought were not good enough counter punchers to take advantage of his mistakes. best was tim, who was able to land. But tim isn't anywhere near as good as Floyd.

I think Manny can outwork Floyd. But Floyd always lowers his opponents output. So its interesting to see which way it goes.

Just don't judge Floyd's possible performance based on what he does when he's way ahead. I think that would be a mistake.

Everyone has an opinion about Mayweather/Pacquaio, including bloggers like Ronnie Nathanielz and Kevin Iole and people like Oscar De La Hoya. None of those opinions make a damn bit of difference when it comes to making the fight happen, so I truly wish these bloggers would quit writing about every rumor, every look, every wink that is made about this fight.

Writing a blog post stating that Pacquaio hopes the fight happens is a waste of time and energy. Everyone (except Bob Arum), including Mayweather and Pacquaio, hopes the fight happens. These bloggers should stop wasting our time with innuendo, asinine opinions and lies/theories disguised as reliable sources.

I laugh when people say "Arum's loose lips" are hampering the fight from happening. What is this, a sensitive mission to rescue hostages in a far-flung area? LOL. This is Sports, not effing ***********/Israeli negotiations.

Anyone in the negotiating table could say whatever the hell they want and the fight would still happen if Mayweather would just behave like a normal human being.
