Prime Chris Byrd is like Allen Iverson in the ring, moving, slipping, and feinting as the shoulders, arms, and legs of his opponents pop and snap like Rice Krispies.

The man can put you in the hospital without even touching you.

Not that that was the point of my answer, but I would guess they were relatively equal.

Byrd faced Vitali, Holyfield, Wlad (2), Tua, Ibeabuchi, Povetkin, Golota, Oquendo, Butler, Castillo, Bert Cooper, Purrity, McCline etc.

I would say that bunch is way way better than what Vitali faced in his career.

My point was that numbers don't make up a resume.

You're bad at this trolling thing.

Stop repeating that he quit as if Byrd was kicking his ass. Vitali was way up on the scorecards and had to stop the fight because of a torn rotator cuff. If he was getting dominated and "quit," You'd have a point but as usual you don't.

Did he enter the fight with a torn rotator cuff? No. he was missing nearly every round hence the injury. It was byrd's fault that Vitali got injured. It wasn't a beating at all either, Vitali was winning because of output, but Byrd fought well too.

            And then Vitali didn't continue.

            Those are the facts.

No argument there, byrd is an excellent fighter but he was on his way to losing the fight. And can you really take pride in winning a boxing fight because a guy blew his arm out attacking you? It's pretty weak man.

I don't know. I would imagine he was pretty happy with his victory.

Plenty of fighters have been behind on a scorecard and won via injury to the other guy. Why is it different with Vitali?

He has had some dubious fights in his time too where the opponent failed through injury or where the fight has been wrongfully stopped. Should we discount those wins too?

Plenty of fighters have fought with a torn rotator cuff too. Or worse, like a broken jaw.

I'm not a shameless vitali defender so I won't sit here and be ****** over the issue. He lost, and no, wins of that nature shouldn't be discounted, I just have an issue when people make that Byrd victory appear like he beat him around the ring and made him quit.
