Should be a good fight, i think canelo will engage kirkland but could get rocked himself, only outcome i see is canelo stops him midway through the fight round 5-7. Kirkland is susceptible to uppercuts on the inside and canelo will exploit this.

I'm not even a little bit excited about this fight, in fact it doesn't even move me one bit. Saturday is gonna feel like this fight just materialized in front of my eyes. Canelo will make easy work or likely quick work of Kirkland.

Thinking about betting on Alvarez to win in under 3 rnds. Someone talk me out of it. Odds are +450

Only reason it's somewhat risky is because Canelo LOVES to starts slow just to see what his opponent has but knowing how overly aggressive Kirkland can be, one counter may put him in trouble and Canelo is a damn good combination puncher.

Yeah he does start slow. Kirkland just has such a crap chin in the first few rounds though. Maybe that will change with new team.

Im not gonna do it. Canelo will most likely be cautious of Kirklands power.

I think he'll get the KO though

I don't have high hopes, but when Kirkland is ON, the possibilities seem endless. I just hope for some brutality and savagery. Kirk has the qualities to test Canelo's mettle; it's unfortunate that his chin is so damn suspect and his defense sucks. Chances are he won't make it far enough to test Canelo in any meaningful way. This fight can't be any worse than Canelo/Angulo, i know that for sure. Either Kirk gets flattened quickly or he lives long enough to cause some hell. I don't see Kirk absorbing a drawn-out beating like Angulo.

This is my view also and I've been saying it for a while. Kirkland was handpicked at the right time and right place.
