The Mandingos were a tribe in Africa that were known to be fierce warriors about two hundred years ago. Africa is a huge continent. Kirkland has African blood in him but probably not any blood from the Mandingos.

All b.s. aside this will only be as tough as Canelo makes it....

Kirkland just doesn't have Alvarez's skill set...Aside from Canelo possibly gassing out I cant envision a scenario where Kirkland wins...I will say this though, Canelo should be prepared to fight 3min of every round cuz Kirkland will not allow him to fight in spurts the way he favors...Especially if he feels like he can take the shots...& if Alvarez is not conditioned properly that could spell trouble for him...Besides that Canelo should control most of the action...Superior speed, defense, chin, boxing ability....

I see Alvarez stopping Kirkland midway thru the fight....
