Why Dont You Like GGG? What Has He Done? or Not Done?

Well that's absolute nonsense. I'm white and I find him boring. He has power but that's it. He doesn't land any "Pretty" or "Hollywood" punches like a Canelo does. He is very effective, I'll give him that. But Daniel Geale as your best win means absolutely nothing.

I always liken him to a 140 Miguel Cotto who was the boogeyman for a while.

Does he look as impressive as Cotto did? God no, Cotto's body shots mixed with beautiful boxing had people like Larry Merchant calling Cotto "the most complete fighter I've seen" this was obviously a bit premature but my point stands.

Has he fought the same level of fighters? Bailey( He hasn't fought anyone with this type of power) , Torres, Corley and Paulie M? No he hasn't fought anyone on this level.

Is he looking to move up like Cotto to challenge himself? No, he's calling out smaller fighters and even not responding to some when he's called out (Lara)

Has he shown the same type of versatility? Nope, fights the same style every fight.

So he's proved less than a 140 Miguel Cotto.

I don't know why some people comlain about "GGG's skills are being underrated" or "some poeple don't like GGG". He is one of the most hyped fighters today on the way to become a household name for HBO.

First of all: There's no person who liked by everybody. Deal with it.

Second: Most people who word critics about him don't hate him but try to trim his reputation a little in the opposite of the hundreds of blind fanboys who actually think that Golovkin is already a ceertified ATG and has no flaws. I don't see problem with this. Every fighter should be criticized (not hated!). I criticize my favourite fighters also that doesn't mean that I don't like them.

So I have absolutely nothing against Golovkin I don't hate the guy just because his fans, I know it well that it's not a fighters fault if his fanbase is suck or the hype is big around them, one of my favourites, Canelo Alvarez also gets a lot of hatred just because he is a very hyped fighter.
As for his style, I think that Golovkin is a master of his style, based on skills (not resume) he is top 10 P4P but for me his style is too methodical, but that's it. That just a personal taste, I can understand if his style someone's favourite.

The sicking sound of Lampley, & Kellerman gassing GGG up as the second coming of Greb, Robinson, Monson, Hagler, or even Hopkins of middleweights is nuts!
No comp in of the weakest divisions(like Super Middle.), and the build up for him to fight Cotto is making him out to be a superman....
GGG has the skills. He just need a real foil to see if the hype matches the skill set!
