Is Mathysse a good enough counter puncher to make a fight with Pacquiao interesting?

Manny would eat him up, but lucas could stop him... If lucas lands flush, I have no doubt he could stop manny..

I don't think Lucas is skilled enough to stop manny with a calculated counter, but a huge shot in a fire fight, Lucas is more than capable of landing..

Stop pretending that Manny will get into firefights anymore. Ever against weaker Algieri & Bradley, Pacquiao still didn't go into firefights. Unless Lucas tries setting a counter, which Bradley & Algieri tried, I don't see him landing anything good. If he comes in a straight line, he gets beat like Rios. If he boxes, he gets beat by speed & angles.

PacMan knows that getting into firefights will add unwanted risk. He got into a one early with Bradley & got hit flush.

I think Lucas is competative for anyone. Not saying he would win them all as he does have limitations, but he also has some speed and mad power, which can turn a fight at any point.

Lucas would give him a good fight but I just can't see him winning unless it's by KO (unlikely).

the first big bomb he grazes Pac with he knocks him out cold. Lucas power alone he wont even need to counter Pac, he will just need to land one hard shot and its over. The man is a monstrous puncher.

Manny might not have a choice in getting into a fire fight or not.. Lucas is a much more threatening offensive fighter than algieri, rios, Bradley...

Not saying that it would happen, just that it's the scenario that I can see Lucas stopping manny... Not with a counter but with a huge shot out of nowhere.. Much like the first knockdown in marquez 4, when Juan just stepped forward and caught manny with a simple right hand.. I can see Lucas being able to do something similar

he'd have a punchers chance ... imo he takes a battering with the slight chance that he connects with something decent. said chance diminishing as the fight wears on

He's really not, and Pacquiao isn't gonna slug it out with Lucas. He'll go the Brandon Rios approach.
