Kessler would be a good tuneup fight for the #2 P4P.

I concur. This fight is not happening and definitely not in Denmark.

I've been saying it for a long time. This would make a lot of sense for Ward. A fat cheque against a faded guy and overseas to get that no-travel monkey off his back. It's perfect for him.

Lets see if Kessler takes it. He was on tv last night, before the news broke, saying that the spark is lacking and that he couldn't even see himself getting ready for Ward or Froch any longer. How odd it may sound, it looks as if there's little to no coordination between Kessler and his promotor.

A lay off sometimes does a fighter good especially in the latter stages of their career

Why would ward fight him in Denmark. It would only make sense if Ward lost to him. But Ward whooped his ass.

The first headbutt that lands....the ref is warning Ward and then deducting a point

Kessler will make a big deal about it in the media prior to the fight and that will put pressure on the ref, similar to mayweather maidana with kenny bayless

Agreed. Kessler is a smart boxer, hasn't really taken serious punishment and he has extremely solid fundamentals to compensate for any drop in speed. If his heart is in it I can see him coming back pretty well.

Kessler was the champion, the draw, yet fought the unheralded Ward in Oakland, did that make sense?
