I've been saying it for a long time. This would make a lot of sense for Ward. A fat cheque against a faded guy and overseas to get that no-travel monkey off his back. It's perfect for him.

Lets see if Kessler takes it. He was on tv last night, before the news broke, saying that the spark is lacking and that he couldn't even see himself getting ready for Ward or Froch any longer. How odd it may sound, it looks as if there's little to no coordination between Kessler and his promotor.

Agreed. Kessler is a smart boxer, hasn't really taken serious punishment and he has extremely solid fundamentals to compensate for any drop in speed. If his heart is in it I can see him coming back pretty well.
