Could a Ward rematch be a suitable Vegas showdown for Froch?

There was a time when Froch did want this rematch, but that was before the Lucian Bootay fight which was when he became a massive international superstar. Ever since he hasn't been interested.

He used to say that he thought Ward beat him more clearly than the scorecards suggested. But the fact that the judges saw a closer fight made him think there was something he was doing right.

Now he just says it's pointless because he'd lose. Strange.

True, but he might take it now since Ward has been off for so long. He might figure he can steal a win over a rusty fighter.

I don't know if many fans, outside of the Brits upset he got beat fairly easy, want to see a rematch anyway.

Having read in the other thread that there's only one Ward fan in the forum, guess I'm just speaking for myself here (and no, I'm not his sister, I'm an actual fan) but sure, I'd pay to see it. If Ward fights, I'm gonna watch. That simple. Bonus that I like Froch as well.

        Bring it on!

Yah he's that guy that lost to George "Saint" Groves.

Froch was giving **** to Groves for not wanting to rematch DeGale, being upset that the IBF made him rematch Groves. Only for Froch to duck DeGale too. That guy right?

          Froch a WARRIOR DOE

they usually bring in one for the first few rounds, shift in another, etc. it's not perfect, but it keeps me sharp.

i mean andre ward. it keeps him sharp and good looking.

i treated the best the euros had to offer like sparring sessions, anyway. they don't even watch those fights.
I was going to suggest a weak opponent for your... I mean Andre's comeback fight. However, given how "easy" Froch was, he would be perfect to get back into the game against. Kessler announced he'll retire if he can't rematch Froch, so he's out. How Abraham is even ranked is beyond me. Of course, there's Groves and Degale. Would Haymon even allow a fight against either of the Dirrell brothers? Chavez, JR is only a big name. The fighter is much smaller. As long as Ward has been absent from the sport, he needs to come back hard and make a statement, if he wants his career to take off. The impact of past victories is fading fast...

LOL those dudes haven't shown their faces since. Imagine the kind of agony DirtDigger would go through if his boy Frampton lost to Avalos.

Ward couldn't sell out a gas station in Oakland.

Froch, on the other hand, is selling out soccer stadiums.

Bruv, the question was whether it would be suitable for vegas....

I think the rematch is more suitable for a high school gym at best. Rematch should be in England, but Ward won't fight outside of Oakland.
