Could a Ward rematch be a suitable Vegas showdown for Froch?

A good point to say is that I don't think Ward is as sharp as he was back during the Super 6. Also, how much motivation would he really have to beat someone he already beat? On the flipside, Froch can beat the one guy he hasn't avenged yet, and I think if he got himself into the best possible shape, fully motivated and ready to lay it on the line one last time v Ward, he COULD win.

I don't think Ward will be quite the same and the opportunity for Froch to really enhance his legacy could lead him to perform a minor miracle. If this fight presents itself, it could be a risk worth taking. At this point it's probably a better fight to take for Froch than GGG, if Hopkins or JCC doesn't materialise.

Which recent fights of wards were close?

Also, what planet are you living on?

My bad, I was thinking of something else at the same time as writing that - disregard what I said, however, what I meant was although Froch got outboxed, he had some success late on and I think with the perfect gameplan and against an unmotivated Ward, he could pull out a win.

edit: I was actually thinking of the final stages of the Froch fight being closer...hard to differentiate from saying Ward's 'last fights' as he never fights anymore...

Ward fought with a broken hand

And those 7-5 scorecards were atrocious and should have been investigated

Froch has since regressed and ward , although inactive, is coming into his prime and has his best years ahead of him

Froch is not scared of Ward. There's nothing Ward can do that would really hurt Froch. He finds his style too awkward and tricky to bother to try and deal with. It's still a disappointing attitude from Froch because he's basically admitting he's happy being second place but it's not fear.

Ward should be considered retired until he's actually in a ring again. The man's got enough Goosen problems that he shouldn't be discussed as an opponent to any fighter.

Froch is not scared of ward.
                Get off that..

Ward is entering his prime ????lmfao=classic comment.

Inactivity, hasnt fought a top 10 super middle in yrs ,trash promoter...but he is entering his prime.. he peaked fellas in the super 6. Inactivity and living off that home ring advantage fighting dead men walking is a decline.
surgery to add to that. Ward wants to cash out.
he just isnt marketable enough to do it.

Wards career is over. He wont be a top 10 light heavy.
i got pascal stevenson kovalev and fonfara beating him..
he isnt on their level anymore and if he is he would have to prove it at 175 off all that time off with a crap promoter
                can you say B side

f#ck no. there's less demand for that fight now than when froch was at his peak.

Ward is 31 years old. He's still young, but not that young. He hasn't fought since November of 2013, which really begs the question of whether he still has it. No Matter how much he's sparred and otherwise trained, he needs to get into the ring for an actual fight to assess his sharpness or lack thereof. This is especially true since he had shoulder surgery due to injury. He won't be quite the same as he was.

ward's just a bother, guys. he's not scared, froch just doesn't want to bother with trying to beat the best fighter in his division. nothing to see here.
