If Arum doesn't want the fight why would he go over Showtime and Floyd's head to this Moonves Guy ?

Showtime don't want to simply pin the blame on floyd cause he's their guy and they are afraid of a fan backlash if he ducks manny to fight somebody else. They've lost enough money on him already

If people applied their common sense to this situation, instead of their emotions, they'd do with impractical thinking like the above. If Showtime is losing so much money on this Mayweather deal, they're going to do everything short if kidnapping the fighters just to make the match happen. And if Mayweather was blocking the fight, thus putting them deeper in the ref, they wouldn't protect him. They'd out all sorts of pressure on him, including publicly. Or find a way out of the deal. Stop entertaining these childish ideas.
