do you live inside Jennings's head? Jennings is no beast but hes far from a bum and anyone over 200 lbs can hurt you. show some respect. the guy is an undefeated professional. hes obviously a big underdog but im sure hes going to give it his best. most philly fighters at least go out on there shield. try getting in the ring sometime and see how tough it is

I give Jennings a lot of credit for not taking the easier fight with wilder (not that it would be easy). I think hes really going to give it his all and not just try to survive like many wlad opponentsyes Wlad is great and what i think could, and most likely hurt Jennings even IF he starts off good, big IF, is Jennings' lack of experience.....that right there is his big adversary cuz nothing can train him or prepare him for facing a guy so experienced like Wlad, especially since Jennings only has like 4 years under his beltComment

im kinda thinking of the brock fight a bit. I know wlad improved since then but brock reminds me a bit of Jennings in that he defends himself pretty well and has descent fundamentals. brock did give wlad problems until the fifth round when wlad decided to quit pawing with the jab and started snapping it out there. could be something similar with JenningsComment

Actually that's exactly what I'm thinking too. This is the sort of fight where Wlad could have problems if he lays back. Once he starts letting power punches go, Jennings is going to bed. Jennings isn't a bad fighter but I don't think he can stomach Wlad's power for long and that will be his undoing.im kinda thinking of the brock fight a bit. Glad you found it amusing!

I agree with a lot of what you say about Jennings here, btw. I expect Wlad's height and footwork to negate Jennings reach advantage. But if that doesn't happen, and Jennings is able to use his reach and mobility to land punches himself from long range and keep it close on the score cards, then that would put pressure on Wlad to end it early.

Jennings is the home fighter, so Wlad won't want to risk a close fight going to the judges and would have to go looking for him, instead of waiting and countering, which is what he likes to do. And Jennings can throw hard, fast counters when he is under pressure, as he showed against SzpilkaComment

I believe Jennings will come in great shape and will respect the occasion and the opportunity by giving it his very best shot but I just don't see him troubling Klitschko. Jennings only edged Perez in the eliminator because the exhausted Cuban Paddy could hardly raise his hands through that fight's second half. Jennings' conditioning might make him look impressive physically but I reckon his lack of experience and, yes, lack of top level ability will be exploited by Wlad in no uncertain terms. I've got Wlad by kayo inside eight. Bryant could go right into a shell when he finds he's coming off second best but I'm hoping that, instead, he adopts a nothing to lose attitude, let's his hands go and gives it the big try. The heavyweight division has begun to stir again at long last but what it really needs is to see Wladimir Klitschko in a really exciting fight. If Bryant Jennings is able to make that happen, irrespective of whether or not he's kayoed in the end, the sport of boxing will be in his debt.Comment

I'm sure Tyson Fury would agree with the parts I high-lighted there, after what happened to him vs Cunningham.do you live inside Jennings's head? Pulev landed one hard counter jab at the beginning of thee fight.Pulev was the better boxer, but Wlad was by far the better athlete. Pulev landed some nasty shots on him but Wlad is not fat and out of shape, he recovered very quickly. Pulev got winded just throwing at Wlad, look at how much he had to stop and collect himself after he attacked.

The 3 jab-right cross-left hook combinations he threw didn't land flush... well the first 2 punches didn't land on Klitschko's chin.Comment
