He was using it as a hypothetical example but that doesn't mean that they haven't had an offer like that. Did he just make that option and number up on the spot from his imagination? You'd have to imagine that Povetkin's backers would be wanting to bring Wilder to Russia and they have both the will and the money to overpay to try and make it happen.
So Wilder turned down 10M for Povetkin.

I could understand if this was just a principle that you happen to feel very strongly about and that you always defend passionately regardless of a boxer's nationality. But you can't point me to any threads where you are opening your mouths as loudly in criticism of Euro boxers for doing the same thing. So I have to assume that your motivations here aren't exactly about the principle.Comment

There was no offer. So basically you two rushed to attack Wilder at the first chance you got, for no real reason.

I could list numerous examples of your shameful ass calling out other fighters for ducking but when it's a Yank or a Haymon fighter, you be like "my man can fight who he wants, when he wants"Comment

ShoulderRoll made a thread saying Garcia "deserved" to face Salka so we know what kind of shameless f@ggotry we're dealing with hereComment

Show me some threads where you have gone similarly as hard on European boxers for playing it safe and milking their belts, Dirk. If I'm wrong'll acknowledge it.Comment

Wellll....no. How many undefeated "champs" have we seen, fighting can after can, taking very small, calculated risks, only doing so with everything in their favor, ref, judges? We see these dumasses all the time, while tons of good boxers rarely have a chance. As it stands today, boxing is no longer a sport, its a show. Anyone that doubts that knows sht about boxing.Comment

I actually like Wilder and wanted him to win the title but I don't support the idea of turning down 10 times your highest payday to fight soft opposition no matter who you are. What situation have I defended that's similar?
I can list many situations where you have gone hard at fighters for doing less.Comment
