I hadn't read your posts and I didn't quote you on my 1st post so I wasn't directing it to you nor was it about your posts.

I find any discussion about glove choice to be an excuse. Glove choice has no bearing on who wins or loses a fight.

So why did Floyd made it a big issue about Maidana's choice of gloves after they both agreed and it's in the contract? Ok, maybe the personalized one was indeed less padded, or maybe not we won't know for sure cause we didn't put our hands in them. Commissioner representative showed him different brand new gloves out of the plastic bags and he still insist no punchers gloves for Maidana. It's either the gloves of his choice, or no fight. So your statement there is already proven wrong as per Floyd's demand.

The brand of gloves has nothing to do with the weight but so you won't bring it up again they both can wear gloves that they want it's already been agreed upon once contracts are drafted

Like I said.. punches in bunches from all angles will keep Floyd defensive and try to pot shot someone who uses footwork to get in and out wont work.. as far as "walking Manny down"? I don't even recall the last time Floyd walked anyone down.. I remember even being defensive vs a greatly overmatched marquez, or outclassed gatti was the last I remember Floyd hitting the offense.. I do see it as strategic boxing fight.. whoever keeps their front foot on the outside gets the best shot at landing a fight changing shot...

I still think it will be 7-5 on either side..

You dont remember floyd walking anyone down? Have you ever watched him fight then? Floyd is a complete fighter, reason hes ranked #1 in the world and he doesnt just "run" in every single fight Floyd has alotta depth to his game.

Pacman is also a great fighter, what i like is his head movement and footwork and against floyd, oh man its an interesting match-up.

You said the punches in bunches approach by Pac will keep floyd on the defensive, i strongly disagree..Pac will be countered all night if he just throws combo after combo, you gotta realize Floyds not just gonna shell up while Pac unloads on him. Pacs success will have to come from working behind his jab, feints and headmovement to overcome floyds reach advantage(plus floyd has trouble against fighters who use their jab)& pac will benefit more from clinching than Floyd...one area where i see Pac being totally outclassed is on the inside, floyds has exceptional inside game. I see a lead right setting up left hooks and left uppercuts from floyd being the story of the fight.

Whoever gets their jab/lead established will have the better success-pacs right jab or floyds lead right.

I totally see that will be the strategy of Floyds camp, stick and move, clinch, fight in the middle of the ring, time Manny coming in with right straight or left check hook.

I didn't say it's gonna be easy. I already said who ever comes up with a great fight plan and execute them perfectly wins. It's gonna be a very strategic chess match it will be boring for some, but for me I can't wait what kind of strategy both camps comes up with.

I still thinks it 50/50. Floyd doesn't move as fast as he used to be, he gets tagged a lot by Maidana which I believe have almost the same reach as Manny. And both have use angles coming in. Imagine Maidana tagging May being slower than Manny. I can't wait man.

Manny is gonna be so different than any fighter Jr has ever fought. The speed of timing is Jr's asset but Pac is smarter and not head first.

No, it isn't for anyone who actually follows boxing. It appears on NSB its only an issue for a certain group-the same group that always finds trivial issues to explain when a fighter they don't like wins.

Then isn't it an excuse for Jr to demand pillows for Pac, come on Dunn, you know what happens if Pac uses his gloves, JR's will swell up like a pumpkin hahaha
