Eh, Floyd is going to keep Manny at bay at the beginning of the fight by fighting tall and using his jab combined with his usual great footwork and defense to bag the early rounds. Manny has small moments of success when he is able to get punches off when Floyd is near the ropes, but Floyd makes a point to clinch and move back to the center of the ring.

By the mid rounds Floyd starts to time his right hand, while Manny is continually being frustrated by Mayweather's significant reach advantage. Floyd pushes the gas a bit and starts punishing Manny with repeated right hands right through the south paw guard. Manny has no answer.

When Floyd doesn't get the KO or stoppage, he coasts the championship rounds for an easy UD victory. 9-3 or 10-2. Judges probably have it closer like 7-5, 8-4.

I totally see that will be the strategy of Floyds camp, stick and move, clinch, fight in the middle of the ring, time Manny coming in with right straight or left check hook.

I didn't say it's gonna be easy. I already said who ever comes up with a great fight plan and execute them perfectly wins. It's gonna be a very strategic chess match it will be boring for some, but for me I can't wait what kind of strategy both camps comes up with.

I still thinks it 50/50. Floyd doesn't move as fast as he used to be, he gets tagged a lot by Maidana which I believe have almost the same reach as Manny. And both have use angles coming in. Imagine Maidana tagging May being slower than Manny. I can't wait man.

Yea a southpaw of Pac's caliber will be troublesome. Many dont realize it.

It's simple he got caught trying use worked in gloves that had some horsehair remove his credibility was gone he could of been adamant on using the commission approve other pair wasn't because of the pay day that was involved it wouldn't of got to that point if his team ain't try and cheat he would of had gloves of his choosing that's what people fail to see and try to bring up glove issues when that's only time you have heard of glove issue in floyds career

It's not just you its in many other threads. It's a trivial issue that Pac fans make into an excuse. It's just good that Dan has clarified it so they can stop.

If you read my previous post about my opinions on Manny's chance of winning? If you read it as a boxing fan and not a fan of one fighter, is that an excuse? Please give me an honest to goodness, coming from your brain not in your heart respond.

I hadn't read your posts and I didn't quote you on my 1st post so I wasn't directing it to you nor was it about your posts.

I find any discussion about glove choice to be an excuse. Glove choice has no bearing on who wins or loses a fight.

No, it isn't for anyone who actually follows boxing. It appears on NSB its only an issue for a certain group-the same group that always finds trivial issues to explain when a fighter they don't like wins.

You really don't have a clue. Heavier gloves will hurt the faster boxer. Lighter gloves will be better for volume punchers as it is lighter.
