in the free agent scenario, arum would still promote his fights. he just wouldn't have too pay bob 27% of his purse.

what does mayweather have too do with pacquiao being able too keep an extra 27% of his money by working with bob arum as a free agent as opposed too working with bob arum as a contracted fighter?

Ok, I'm convinced if there is no announcement during or a day after Superbowl then that is it. Cut off is February 2 just to give the people a day to recuperate from the hard partying during the Superbowl.

But that is it February 2. Then again why not extend it the whole first week of February but that is it. No more. Pac has to announce an opponent by February because he normally fights between April or June.

I think Mayweather is planning on fighting in June for the Puerto Rican day. So, Mayweather announcing a fight some time in February is a possibility. The funny thing is Canelo is starting to look like he will have Cinco de Mayo by himself.
