WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao says it's 'now or never' to make a fight with WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Their camps and respective networks, HBO and Showtime, have been negotiating for weeks to finalize a May 2nd pay-per-view fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and his promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank have claimed for the last two weeks that they've agreed to all of the demands submitted to them by Mayweather's team. If the deal falls through, Pacquiao doubts the fight will ever happen.

Regardless of the brilliant opinions of those sucking at the nuts of the *****, the boxing world at large, the entertainment world at large, if this fight does not get made, the blame will be seen solely as Floyds...like it or not...the everyday fight fan could care less about the split, the gloves, they don't even read the articles...they see Manny making a good show of himself around the world and then they see Floyd going to jail, acting like a fool and he loses...period...the world will see him as the reason for this fight not getting made and that may be just the beautiful ploy of one Bob Arum at this point and thats why Manny is showing up everywhere....the people will love him and hate Mayweather

Last I checked, no one can do anything without the networks signing off on the negotiations and contract. So the question becomes, why is everyone still dismissing that fact and exclusively blaming Floyd with no additional information.

This would be correct.

Because if it doesn't happen in the First part of 2015 it's not happening in 2015 at all.

Remember Pacquiao has atlest 1 fight due in China this year, which would mean unless Mayweather is fighting Pacquiao in China, which really isn't gonna happen.



So the plan was for May Vs Pac in May

Pac Vs Vargas or whoever else in September, pending on the outcome of that fight.
