Or Floyd could have fought pacquiao before he jumped ship to ShowTime, which was the biggest hurdle and still looks to be a big hurdle. Mayweather said may 2nd, hes obviously ok with bob arum being involved now so it really was just a lame duck excuse the whole time. Manny is loyal to top rank and they pay him very well and get him big fights. Bob arum treats his fighters very well. That's why pacquiao, cotto, Marquez and many of the sports biggest names continue to do business with top rank. Bob arum has HBO in his pocket, that's how he was able to pay Rios 850k and Alvarado 750k after they both had bad some bad fight. HBO pays better than ShowTime because HBO has more viewership. Tim Bradley gets paid very well by top rank too. 2 million to fight Diego Chaves, 4 million to fight Marquez, and 11 million in two fights with Manny. Top rank pays its fighters the best, Manny was smart for sticking with arum

I'm not sure Floyd realises the back lash coming his way if this fight doesn't happen

Thing is he's a great fighter , if he had balls to match his talents he could go down as one of the atg's of the sport

Instead he will probably be remembered as the guy who didn't fight pac-man

Many of us forget that he "TBE" initially said that he may skip the May date... Pac is hoping for the September date now...

But I look to see the Superbowl end and still no announcement.
If the fight was announced today it would immediately BREAK the internet and sports world.

Id go so far to say that NSBs servers would probably crash.
If it were to advertise on a superbowl commercial, which costs about a million bucks for 30 seconds, this fight will be the biggest boxing has ever seen.

Viewership for the superbowl reaches about 110 million homes each year.

Be like Cotto and have no "DRAMA"?

                      Right!!!

I am a huge fan of Cotto, but that man has more drama around him then most women I know. Cotto is "The QUEEN" of drama queens. lol
