He did not say that he would take less. He said if he wants it higher I am happy with that. I will take 40 to 60 I am ok with that for the sake of the fans.

im pretty sure he means if floyd wants his 60 percent higher..why would floyd want manny's money higher..dont be an idiot..the man's name is money not "give away money"

I hope the fight doesn't happen... For several reasons:

1. Fight is happening at least 3 years too late... Manny would have destroyed Floyd then easily

2. Floyd brought up Pac's PPV numbers in China... so there is no reason for Floyd to negotiate with someone whom he believes is not going to help him sell PPVs..

3. Floyd is putting so many demands on the fight..he's trying to obtain every advantage... it makes the fight less interesting...

4. It is ruining boxing for the 2015... Cotto v. Canelo is already ruined because of Floyd...

5. The more time this fight gets hyped the more boxing will suffer after the let down..casual fans will tune boxing out...

6. Floyd doesn't deserve the split he's asking for and should be doing VADA drug testing not just USADA...

7. I could keep going...

I totally agree with this post. A person of this nature should never be rewarded that kind of money. A fake retiring, boring, running, clinching, UDying boxer should be the one begging for a fight like this.

He needs to be given a deadline and the Pac camp should stick with it.

first of all i'm a manny fan..i have manny destroying floyd, but i hate arum..and the facts say manny probably should take wat he can get b/c arum will only let him fight algieris, bradleys, and rios of the world..and there are not many of those out there that will sell..being a fan doesnt mean u deviate from fact or past events that repeat themselves

I wouldnt be surprised if 80/20 is the actual split that Floyd wanted. Look at it from Bobs angle-he tells the media, "yes we agreed to his terms,60/40 split" and the media and fans RAN with that, so now if Floyd says "not so fast! I wanted an 80/20 split"

How do you think the media and fans would respond to that??? Theyre gonna say he changed his terms or "demands". Bobs such a slimy dude and he knows as long as he has Pac, who fans absolutely adore, he will be looked upon as the pope who can do no wrong.

100% agree..its some coincidence about the media that they always ride with bob first and then real truths come out and they dont report it...so bob has caught on and he just uses angles to beat floyd outside the ring and never let manny take the shot..bob is not like the real manny fans he doesnt think manny can win..i know manny can and will win and i'd take an 70/30 split B side to everything in a minute..then i would **** floyd onthe rematch negotiations as much as i could

Here is why it's pointless to debate FIomos..

They don't discuss what the best options is for Floyd...they just discuss why Pac must accept any one of Floyd's demands even if the demand is beyond absurd such as the $40 mil flat demand when Pac was number 1 pound for pound and still bringing in more money than Floyd...

FIomo = "Pac's PPv numbers are terrible" So 60/40 isn't good enough

FIomos don't discuss that Floyd made 31 million against Maidana in the rematch and didn't release PPV numbers...

Let's keep it current... Floyd 60% v. Pac = about $150 million when all revenue is collected...

Floyd v. Cotto 2 = what do you think? I don't remember Cotto being on the Today showing being asked about Floyd... etc...

Floyd v. Amir Khan = what do you think? "Nobody knows who Khan is"

That being said... the sooner a deadline is placed on Mayweather the happier I will be personally because I have no more interest in this fight.. I've reached my boiling point... the deck is already stacked against Manny... he's 36 now...coming off of a knock out to a PED-using cheater... he's going to have to fight in Mayweather's Olympic-size giant MGM ring... it's in Vegas... Castillo and Maidana were screwed by at least two judges... I'm assuming Mayweather has more demands... Kenny Bayless (will coincidentally ref the fight) I'm waiting for May to demand Pac not wear Reyes gloves and demand Pac have change the way he wraps his hands... it's never going to end with Floyd... Fight is at least 3 years too late... As hardcore boxing fans...we need to move after the Super Bowl...
