When's Chakhkiev gonna get another title shot? It seems like he's been in the running for awhile now

He was supposed to defend his EBU title against Kucher his mandatory for that title but vacated to fight for the vacant IBO which he won against Anthony Wright if you count that. Kucher now fights Laggoune for the EBU strap he vacated.
I believe he also vacated the WBC silver championship. Makabu is now mandatory for Drozd's WBC strap (the real one, not that silver thing they recently invented).
Its so confusing with all these sanctioning bodies and titles they seem to pluck from thin air. I was under the impression the WBC silver made you mandatory for the regular like the IBF interim but seems it another micky mouse strap with no baring supposed to make fights more meaningful.
I really wish there was just one or two titles its practically impossible to keep up with these rankings, belts and their meanings, who is mandatory for whose title and all that, at least for me it is. It doesn't help nobody in the CW division seems willing to try and unify the titles.Comment

Boxrec error was thinking Huck vs Diablo made no sense. Huck will be fighting his mandatory Krzysztof Glowacki in his U.S debut
The wait is over. Marco Huck (38-2-1, 26 KOs) will make the next defense of his WBO Cruiserweight Title on August 14. The reigning Super Champion will take on Krysztoff Glowacki (24-0, 15 KOs), mandatory challenger to Huck`s title and number one ranked by the World Boxing Organization. This mouthwatering bout will be held in the state of New York or New Jersey with the exact location to be named very shortly. And the German has plenty of reasons to be excited about this clash.Comment

Interview with British cruiserweight ''relentless'' Russ Henshaw (4-0 2K.Os)
LONDON - Ilkeston's 'Relentless' Russell Henshaw knows all about hard work, and is willing to pay his dues, both inside and outside the ring, in pursuit of cruiserweight titles. The amiable 30-year-old balances a burgeoning boxing career with jobs as a bricklayer and tree surgeon and will next appear, in the ring, on July 25 at Derby Arena. “Recently I've been working on the railways swinging a chainsaw about and chopping down trees,” he said. “I've been working in the heat all week wearing chainsaw trousers and thick, heavy clothing. It helps me lose weight, but, other than that, it's horrible.Comment

All up to date. Not an awful lot of action lined up but quality over quantity and boy do we have some great treats being lined up.
Drozd has pulled out of fighting Junior Makabu with an injury in case anybody missed the news. Fight will be rescheduled for a later date.Comment
