Can somebody help me - a few days ago couple of you guys commented a similar thread to this one that was made in 2010 and I can't find it. The oppener of the thread had a long post with the video of Margarito and Mayweather conversation in it. Anyone with the link of that thread?

Having said all that I'm inclined to think the hey day of they mafia running the sport with so many fixes was probably worse than one major fight not happening. Can't be sure since I wasn't around back the. But it makes sense in my head.
Did you intentionally skip Haymon or you just don't know the guy exist and is much as responsible as the 3 you mentioned?

I don't know, but he has to fight Pacquiao even if it is far too late. People should seriously boycott another Cotto fight.

When he left Arum to fight Oscar for the richest fight at the time. Arum never got over it and got nasty.

Mayweather is not ruin boxing...WE THE FANS ARE DOING IT! HOW?
Because we pick sides and want to hold 1 Guy Responsible for everybody else BS.

Networks and Greedy Promoters and Managers are doing more damage to the sport than Mayweather. He is only 1 Fighter and watching him is OPTIONAL!

I know this varies from person to person as it should, but at what point did you say I have had enough? Was it when he flaunted his narsistic persona after becoming the "cash cow"? Was it one of the many times he ducked and dodged a Manny Pacquiao fight? Was when his violent nature toward females became apparent? Was it when he said "Health comes first"? Was it when he retired avoiding top oppostiom via Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Pacquiao, etc? Was it when he consistantly overrated himself? Was it when he would avoid interview questions and make up complete lies saying he fights who the fans want him to fight? Was it when his blatant rascism became apparent towards Pacquiao? Was it when he hypocritically bashes PED's when he himself uses xylocaine to numb his hands (only illegal in Nevada)? Was it when he lies before a fight saying he will give a great competitive fight but instead runs and outpoints for a UD? I guess for a me its a culmination of all these things. I really want to hear the boxing fans moment when they knew Floyd Mayweather Jr ruined boxing. And to those trolls satirically backing Floyd, please take it somewhere else. Trying to have a civil discussion here.
You must have tunnel vision if you watch only Floyd out of the thousands of fighters in this world. Floyd is not boxing but he is a major player in the scheme of it all.

Boxing was broken long before Floyd turned pro.

And you can say all of the bad things about Floyd that you want to, he doesn't give a **** what you might think.. He has made mountains of money in the sport and has substantially invested a good amount back in to game so that he will make money even when he can no longer fight.

Every retired pug has time to give, Floyd will give that and the money to help bring up our future champions.

I will agree though that he has become boring to watch. Self preservation, I don't blame him. Take as much as he can from the sport before it takes as much as it can from him. He's played his role perfect, now only time will tell about the battle within his mind. 30+ years in the ring.

The worst thing that has happened to boxing are forums such as these where supposed boxing fans verbally **** the fighters and the sport.

These forums have proven to me that boxing fans in general are *****es. Give me this fight, give me that fight.... or I will verbally **** you and anything similar to you just because............

When Floyd started calling himself MONEY and TBE (THE BEST EVER) then refusing to fight Manny Pacquiao for the biggest MONEY payday of his career because his health matters first. Or to put it in his dad's words. "I'm afraid for my son's life".

Seriously, boxing is dead when fighters don't have any balls left.

After Manny Pacquiao, I'm done watching boxing.

I can't be wasting my own time and money watching fighters who are considered number 1 pound for pound the best on their division, fighting the 4th, or 10th fighter in the division because it makes BUSINESS sense.

The worst part is once I see Floyd in the ring you don't even get a knockdown. He's just dancing around like a clown. Collects his paycheck and go home. Then he'll say he's TBE. I don't need to watch a fighter with no balls who punches like a little girl. I need to see a real fighter like Pacquiao not a Mayweather.

Again our world champions have no balls, smh. They have boulders when compared to the common mans lil nuggets.... such as yourself.

Pacquiao is upon the other side of the mountain and on his descent. He's only relevant because anyone who fights him will get to enjoy part of all the money his native fans spend to watch as they loyally try to deny his decline. Paq will remain rated as high as possible and for as long as possible for the simple fact that his fans will spend money hand over fist to have a fighter to get behind.

Anyway, you guys have no clue/idea that a fighter just can not fight the best out there every time that they step in to the ring to fight. physically as well as managerily............smh
