Floyd in no way has ruined boxing. The hate some of you have for him is borderline unhealthy. Why not discuss actual boxing instead? Technique, potential matchups, fantasy fights, who's the next big prospect, etc. We just got a big shake up in the heavyweight division, Ward is back, Golovkin-Murrary is happening, Rios just looked like a beast, what's next for Donaire, etc. Instead it seems for some of you, each day on this forum is dedicated to bashing Floyd. Give it a rest guys.Comment

So true. Floyd ducking Margarito was one of the biggest ducks of all time. This is an in depth analysis so please no trolling. What I want to discuss is when did Floyd Mayweather Jr ruin boxing for you? I know this varies from person to person as it should, but at what point did you say I have had enough? Was it when he flaunted his narsistic persona after becoming the "cash cow"? Was it one of the many times he ducked and dodged a Manny Pacquiao fight? Was when his violent nature toward females became apparent? Was it when he said "Health comes first"? Was it when he retired avoiding top oppostiom via Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Pacquiao, etc? Was it when he consistantly overrated himself? Was it when he would avoid interview questions and make up complete lies saying he fights who the fans want him to fight? Was it when his blatant rascism became apparent towards Pacquiao? Was it when he hypocritically bashes PED's when he himself uses xylocaine to numb his hands (only illegal in Nevada)? Was it when he lies before a fight saying he will give a great competitive fight but instead runs and outpoints for a UD? I guess for a me its a culmination of all these things. I really want to hear the boxing fans moment when they knew Floyd Mayweather Jr ruined boxing. And to those trolls satirically backing Floyd, please take it somewhere else. Trying to have a civil discussion here.Comment

floyds ruined a lot of the drama inside the ring, but hes been very entertaining outside of it. everyone has their own "floyd being a jackass" moment. for me, crying like a little girl cause nobody loves him, on tv, was hilarious.Comment

He hasn't ruined boxing for me, but as one of the idiots who bought Mayweather vs Maidana 2, I was pretty close to quitting it, but I instead bowed to never buy another Mayweather fight unless it was Pacquiao. Mayweather vs Maidana 2 was an abomination, and to deny that is to show a lack of respect for the sport. And yes I don't like how much **** he talks before the fights, and then barely does anything in the ring, case in point "this time I am going for the knockout", against what he did in the second Maidana fight.Comment
