He didn't want to make Mayweather-Cotto cause he wanted to let it marinate, he didn't want to make Mayweather-Margarito, when they were in TR. So Floyd left. What did you want him to do, keep fighting the Bruseles's and Mitchell's of the world? Arum was not getting him the fights he wanted, he asked for DLH and Cotto and was rejected by Arum.
Sure let's blame Arum. Who made Floyd? Arum did. Fighters have a say so in who they want to fight.

Margarito did have a great effect on fans, maybe not american fans but he did. At one point he was Mexico's most popular fighter.

Cheater to Floyd/Cotto's fanbase and the journalist that vote for the HOF are going to expose their hypocrisy when they vote Mosley in.

When he fought Pac in Cowboy's stadium, who do you think people cheered for? Yea totally no effect on fans like Gatti. 50k+ people.

Mosley shouldn't of even been ranked due to his inactivity. Canelo was at a catch weight so quit making it into something more.

Margarito fought Cotto and beat him at a better time. Margarito also accomplished more than Canelo by when Floyd fought him.

Oh and another thing, Margarito actually fought Pacquiao.

You must of been one of those after DLH fight fan.

Yeah - especially f he beat margarito back when nobody wanted a piece of him, and only Paul Williams would fight him.

It certainly would make him look like less of a lil scared hoe. Definitely would have made him lookk less like a scared bytch.

Yes, Margo at the time of the proposed fight was considered a beast.

Cotto, odlh, and Mosley were considered older by the time Floyd faced them.

Floyd is having this ducking rep because all the delays adds up to more than just coinsedense.

Easy to see that the TS wasn't even following boxing back in 2006.

in 06 Margarito held a trinket....beating Hatton, Mosely, and DLH were bigger fights at the time

in 06 Baldomir was the champion and in 07 wins over hatton and DLH meant more than Margarito and in the future it will too

Margarito was far more dangerous than Hatton, he didn't fight Mosely around that time and sure, I don't blame him for wanting the DLH fight.

But you talk about 'legacy in retrospect'...fighting Margarito that year instead of Baldomir or Judah coming off a loss would have been a lot more impressive. Watch Mayweather cower in fear when Margarito confronted him face to face, it's on video, and no amount of spin in 2015 will help Floyd's legacy when he choose not to face yet another dangerous opponent.

That Margarito beats DLH, Baldomir and Hatton that year.

the wbc and lineal title>wbo title

                    Hatton>Margarito

                    ODLH>Margarito

there is no spin just the truth....Ricky Hatton was undefeated, more proven lineal champion at 140 and held the WBA ww title before Margo won it

What made Margarito so dangerous? Because Arum said it?

Margarito in 06-07 was not more dangerous than Oscar DLH at 154...there Is no way to spin this
