I think Wilder will have his hands full against most of the top5 in the division. His best bet may be to just wait out Klitschkos retirement.

How about Fury vs. Wilder? Could be a fun scrap.

So after six years Wilder has not fought a guy who has beaten a top 20 HW. He clearly is not ready for Wlad now. That would take him another 6 years and then some.

Among the US casual fans that may be the case.. but they would both destroy Wilder. WBC belt is not worth much right now.

Povetkin would smash Wilder and then go straight for the Klitschko fight.

And do you know what? Povetkin is the only fighter ,at the moment, that has a serious chance to beat Klitschko. I still believe it.

The yanks will defend it locally now and hand it back and forth between each other and unification days are over!

I don't understand! Arreola should never have been allowed to fight Stiverne for that title in the first place!

Wladimir Klitschko is the obvious champion and Stiverne was next in line to fight Vitali.

When VK retired, that title should have been fought out by Wlad and Stiverne.

Wlad would have punched his head in and immediately unified all belts and this would never have happened.

Now we have a paper champion holding the belt hostage who has no right to even be there!
And Malik Scott should never have been Wilder's opponent in a final eliminator to fight the winner. Has a fighter ever before gone from a KO defeat straight into a final eliminator for a world title?

Al Haymon must have paid a lot of money to get control of the WBC belt and he isn't going to risk losing it till he gets his investment back, plus as much of a profit as possible.

So he will be looking for easy fights and adding new names to Wilder's "bum squad" list of KO victims before putting him in with Wlad or Fury.

In other words: "We're not ready for Wladimir", "he's still too good", "we'll wait for Wladimir to retire, so we can unify and claim to be TBE"

Do you think Wilder would get $10 million for fighting Povetkin in Russia?
