Wasn't it Arum who said Manny was scared of needles? Wasn't it Arum who said he needed an outdoor stadium? He has already killed the fight twice. Why did he do that, when he stood to make so much money?

Manny agreed to the drug test the first time around. The cutoff date couldn't be agreed upon so there's that theory out the window.
The stadium I don't know..maybe he wanted to maximize profit on the event? Who knows....
So what is it this time? All I've heard is from Manny and Bob that they accepted all the terms Floyds people set forth so far...

I personally am glad that he's talking and shaming Floyd. It may be the only way to get him In the ring.

Only a small minority is defending Mayweather. They don't really matter in the overall grand scheme of things. Floyd is the most ridiculed man in sports today.

My man, even if Floyd pitty pats Manny to death over 12 rounds, Bob will still have Manny fighting in Asia against up and comers for years...Floyd is the one with everything to lose in the fight. Manny has losses, has been knocked out, and still he is as popular as ever..he's more popular then Mayweather in the U.S. For Christ sake...

manny's not popular bro. its all about the mayweather hate. if pac is that dam popular. then why can't he sell in his own asian market? and mayweather has nothing to lose. he's the highest paid athlete in the world. win,lose,or draw. he makes more money in one fight than pac makes in 3. and don't give me that $25 million purse crap from arum. it was chewed up down to $3.5 million when everybody involved got their piece.

Pac is well loved over in Asia that's why arum is not dependent on USA market. There is big money to be made in asia. Ppv in the U.S. is just a bonus only. Pac brought home 27 million dollars fighting Algieri. Oh yah and that's just fighting in Macua.

Floyd has become such a laughing stock now, Arums strategy of humiliating Floyd will work. Floyd has no choice but to agree to the fight now.

Floyd has already said he wants the fight and has told Espioza to make it. Now it's down to the networks, who REALLY control the money (therefore the fighters), to work this out and make the fight happen.

Not agreeing to the 14 day cut-off, is a failure by TR, and Roach admitted to that. Not fighting due to an outdoor stadium is a failure by TR. That's twice. You heard Manny and Arum saying terms are agreed to, and you heard Espinoza say that's not true. So now you can choose who you want to believe, because none of us know. However, history is NOT on TR's side:

Friday's turn of events made that pretty clear. There have been previous negotiations and lots of rhetoric. At various times throughout this whole ordeal, I believe both sides have been to blame.

But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment...

It was just this week that Arum said he would go to the Philippines to meet with Pacquiao and present him with the names of four possible opponents for May or June: Miguel Cotto, Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley Jr.

Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested.

He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May.

Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone.

I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?

A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope."
