Your knowledge of negotiations and people you have never been involved with is astounding.

I really getting tired of bob arum lately, same ish everyday mayweather is scared he won't sign the contract , we agreed to everything.......phuck off bob......now your pushing for mayweather/pacquiao to happen on may 2 when just last month you were saying that it was disrespectful to mexicans for floyd to fight on cinco de mayo weekend

Ill Start a thread that can serve as a petition for it if it happens.

Easy choice for me as i have 0 interest in any floyd fight that doesnt involve manny.

Because what this man appears to be doing is basically killing the sport slowly with his own greed. He wants people to fork out for mismatches when the defining super fight of our generation is right in front of him. Its fcking disgraceful and i defended Floyd a lot over the years, he's making me feel like a fool right now.
Well said, they are both number 1 and 2 in the sport and there is no excuse at this point to not fight Manny pacquiao. He already said may 2nd lets do it, already said he was willing to work with bob arum, and it seems likely when you pay attention to what both sides are saying and responding to the other sides media comments , arum seems likely to be telling the truth about agreeing to the terms. That is the fight the fans deserve and it has been long enough and after this coming may that fight will lose a lot of interest and there will be a huge floydcott. We as fans deserve to see this fight while they are still relatively close to their primes.

Day in and day out, arum in the media winning the media war. I guess he figures the more he does stuff like this the more fans will blame Floyd. First it was, can't fight on May 2nd because it was disrespectful, next it was Floyd is afraid, then it was I'm negotiating, then it was we agreed, then its Floyd is scared.

Funny, when Floyd talks this much NSB says its because he is scared. Same Arum, BS, different day.

Al wouldn't say much anyway. Besides, it doesn't feel like a mess. It feels like they are either finalizing the fight, or they are making other plans on both sides.

Didn't people learn anything from the Canelo/cotto crap? Announcing the fight is "close" or "almost done" is lawyer/promoter speak for "the fight hasn't been signed."

Floyd is going to australia on 28th, the deadline set by Pac for the contract to be signed Jan 31

In all honesty what do you think, is the fight gonna happen or not?

I think yes but I didn't know he was going to austrailia. I don't think Floyd is going to be dictated to by Manny. I will just remain positive.

Floyd and Manny both want the fight.

Arum says all terms agreed to and Floyd says he's his own boss, so no problems there.

If this is really the case then all that remains is HBO and Showtime to resolve who gets what etc.

No reason why this fight doesnt get made other than greed.
