I have yet to hear word from Team Mayweather that they have agreed on a 60/40 purse split or any of the terms or conditions that has been laid out by Bob Arum on this fight. At least to me, this sounds like a ploy and spin control coming out of Top Rank's camp in a attempt to pressure Floyd in agreeing to their terms, by negotiating through the press and to discredit him in the process while turning the public opinion against him.

he's been doing it all along. calling for boycotts, trying to sabotage mayweathers PPV's,and blaming mayweather for everything. its commonsense.

Because he has an exclusive deal with the Venitian who pays him an astronomical site fee.

We're talking about a guy that said he couldn't fight in May because his multi-million dollar stadium that was being built on the Vegas strip wouldn't be ready in time. A guy that said he was seeking out an investor group led by Michael Jackson's dad.

Get ****ing real. I don't believe anything this guy says. That's why 2 of his biggest fighters are suing him right now.

You make a very good point. As far as public opinion, It has and will remain against him.

Arum worked with multiple investor groups including the one in Abu Dhabi and a group in Hollywood...there is money falling from trees for this fight..hell, the Abu Dhabi group offered 200 million and Floyd turned them down! They came out and said this weeks ago and we're not happy with how unprofessional the idiot and his team handled it...200 million...

The deadline they gave Floyd hasn't passed yet. Why is Arum badmouthing him when negotiations are still going on?

My point is they're acting as if they don't know how to deal with Mayweather. They've been calling him out for years and we still haven't seen the fight made. So it's obvious that pressuring him through the media isn't how they're going to get this thing done. Let's not forget that Mayweather has $60M guaranteed for his next two fights, Manny or not. Maybe, just maybe, if Arum steps back and they are a little less "Mayweather is killing this fight", then Mayweather might feel like he won the negotiation. Again, I'm blaming Arum/Pacquiao, but half of getting what you want from someone is knowing how to get it.

Common sense and history tells us Arum is the one stopping this fight. It's also pacquiao fault for not sitting down with arum and DEMANDING the fight. You see other fighters like canelo DEMANDING which fighters he wants to fight as well as dates and Oscar always delivers, but it starts with the star fighter DEMANDING it from his promoter

I think I'm gonna throw a personal boxing party when this sac of tomato s.hit retires. He's the real reason the fight didn't happen the first time around.. and is that Stadium done?

For those saying its arum the one to blame check your tiny brains. Do u think he can play games with the top honchos of sho/hbo? And if that coward mayweather has another demand which is to get rid of arum, why doesn't he tell all boxers to get rid of their promotional bosses. Top rank is co promoting this not MP. Idiota. If you're a kid, and you're scared of something you will do all the excuses just to avoid that thing. Keep running you quack quack
