The fight is being negotiated for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Arum says his company, and Pacquiao, have agreed to every term requested by Mayweather - and he adds that CBS president Leslie Moonves and HBO chairman and CEO Richard Plepler are also on board.

Of course it's Mayweather. He's been afraid to fight Pacquiao for years, it might be deleterious to his health... Like it or not he has admitted to being scared Pacquiao would hurt him and hasn't changed his stance since, only the words have changed but the lips keep flapping the same ol' same ol'. When he has to talk rationally about it he starts to tear up and go into tantrum mode which leads to a non Pacquiao reason...

The Arum excuse... is the last refuge of the fool that would screw up his own last paydays. People see the shifting dodge that Floyd has been trying to pull now for what it is.

The only person reporting the existence of a contract is Bob Arum. He's getting ready to pull the ball away and run home so he can proceed with fulfilling his promise to Jessie Vargas.

If what Arum says is actually the truth then Mayweather has let everyone, and most of all himself, down here and boxing fans should boycott whatever fight he takes instead of Pacquiao!
What would be Arum's motive to sabotage negotiations? Spite?

Its obvious pac wants this fight, unless pac is conning everyone, I dont see why arum would want to sabotage this fight. Hes not protecting pac anymore. Mayweather is the spoiler here.

Pacquiao has not kept quite. He as well as Arum have both come out and discussed with the media details concerning negotiations. Such as the purse split, venue, drug testing and both are on record as stating willingness to concede to whatever demand Floyd may have In order to make the fight happen.

The question still remains, what Is Bob Arum to blame for? What has he done to sabotage this fight? Initially Mayweather claimed that there would never be negotiations for a Pacquiao fight or a fight period for that matter, as long as Arum was Involved. Yet here we are In negotiations for a Pacquiao fight with Arum Involved.

Absolutely nothing, he's just portrayed as this old lizard illuminati ***ish mastermind who "owns and controls manny". What else would they work with?

Floyd himself verified Ariza's tweet that he wants to fight someone other than Manny. It's not even a topic. He doesn't want the fight.

Hmmm...which fighter seems to have the biggest propensity to be a deceitful liar? Ask yourselves that one....one guy fights for his impoverished country, even to the point of serving as a congressman...another buys another car, drops more money on strippers, gets another watch, beats a few broads and acts simply like a ******....he is beloved by other ******s but not decent people. So who would lie, cheat or steal to make himself look better?

It is what it is. Bob has to grudgingly concede that he no longer has the same leverage at the bargaining table as he once had back in 2009 because since that time, Manny has lost twice and has seen a waning popularity among his casuals fans; Especially in terms of PPV buys.

At this point the fans are the real losers in all of this. So long as Arum is doggedly persistent in digging in his heels in a futile attempt at dictating the terms and conditions to Mayweather the price maker who holds all the cards at this point, then unfortunately this fight may never happen. There's no way Floyd's team would agree to a 60/40 purse split with Pacquiao.

If I was Manny I will call Floyd's bluff by telling Bob to accept any offer Team Mayweather was offering just to gauge his commitment in wanting this fight.

Career PPV numbers clearly show that a 60/40 split Is very fair.
