Yeah, real funny. Because Wlaidmir is just the second coming of Akinwande right!
You see I always thought that Wladimir was an elite fighter of not just enormous physical strength, power and range but one with exceptional balance, speed, footwork, timing and technique and unmatched strategy in the ring. One that barely ever gets hit or loses a round of boxing.
But after meeting you here on this forum Anorak, I have to say that I was wrong. You've woken me up to what a talentless bum he was the entire time.
Why,,, It was as if a bunch of Mormons visited my house and bestowed on me their insights and lifted me from the darkness of my own ignorance.
Thank you Anorak...
Ya friggin ******!

Why do Vitali fanboys talk like it was some major freak accident? Its no coincidence that he conveniently lost to not one but the two best fighters he fought, the only two he ever fought actually worth a ****.
You guys live on another planet from everyone else. You live in a dream world talking about ifs and buts and twisting reality to suit some absurd agenda.
''Vitali beats everyone head-to-head IF *insert some random rubbish they've pulled out of their ar5e*'' Do you not understand how ridiculous you sound?
Basically like every other boxer hes unbeatable under the circumstance that his opponent isn't allowed to punch back!Comment

There are many things wald does better than lennox and vica versa. They are very different in a quite few things. Read emanuel's breakdown of both figthers. He specifically tells what Wlad does better.Comment

Well I am afraid holding does seem to work on taller fighters as well, though as you say, not quite as effectively since you can't put as much of your weight on them.
Then again, Lennox doesn't put his head down and rush in like a hedgehog ala Povetkin either does he, he likes to box at range himself from my hazy recollection of Lennox, one of my favourite boxers who I've seen only a million times now! And Lennox would not like, would not handle well, nearly the kind of damage sustained for his efforts that Povetkin did were he to try and be "offensive-minded + defensively irresponsible" against Wladimir.
Funny enough, whenever Wladimir has fought the longer opponents like LEnnox, he doesn't seem to hold even nearly as much!
Punch speed and punch power wins him these fights!Comment

Er.. Somehow I think that analogy is somewhat misguided.
Only if after the war, America was wiped off the map and Japan became the hegemon would this analogy ring somewhat true.
I would say the Hiroshima bomb (implying Lennox intended to or opened him up with a clean punch) is also a bit off. I would say it's more like a meteor happened to strike Japan instead and an inopportune moment.Comment

I think from what I saw in their fight that Vitali would beat Lewis most of the time and based on styles Lewis would beat Wladimir most of the time.
I'm not sure why the dramatic kneejerk reactions (other than anorak who is just funny). It's as though some of you seek approval from an invisible audience.
Obviously according to the regulations of boxing, a doctor is allowed to stop it for a cut. Nobody is saying Lewis lost that fight. Stop hyperventilating. Lewis isn't some crapola bum like Joe Frazier who I jut take dumps on for fun. He could beat both Klitschkos on the right day.Last edited by ////; 01-25-2015, 08:21 AM.Comment
